its very hard to read!!

I really couldn't read the control scheme, but I'm pretty sure that the control scheme to GTA4 will be pretty much identical to the other GTA games. I wonder what buttons/controls are going to be used for the new cover system. And I just hope to GOD that they don't make the R2 button as the gas button to accelerate while driving. I don't know why in the world these new racing games coming out for the PS3 have R2 as the gas/accelerater, that is just so STUPID. If R2 is the gas button, I hope that we have the option to change the controls.

 

But anyways, I think that the map in GTA4 looks pretty big. Finally something about a PS3 verison of a game is known before the Xbox 360 version, but obviously both versions will most likely have the same map, but it's still exciting to see that this is the PS3 version of the map that we are looking at.

wow, the map looks huge!!!!... by the way ill be very impressed if they can fit this entire game on 1 DVD (Xbox).. anyone thik it will be in multiples?.. if it is how will this work for an open world type of game?.. god bless Blueray...

Dear Lord in Heaven! They did the unthinkable: mapped the gas/brake functions to the R2/L2 triggers. I just knew that somehow they would let the sh1tbox 360 influence the control layout for the ps3. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am right now. The only glint of hope is that above the layout it says "standard controls", meaning it might be customizable. It may seem miniscule to you guys, but this has now turned into a wait and see situation for me. I absolutely cannot believe this. Larger, blown-up maps at playstatic.com

What the ****! There better be a 'Classic Controls' scheme, I HATE when gas/brake are alocated to L2/R2 ... Rockstar PLEASE let us customize the controls!!!

buddy calm down about the L2/R2 Thing. I thought it was a big deal to at first but after playing motorstorm it becomes second nature... give it a chance... if not as you said they are probably customizable.... chill....

this is kind of off topic but on the GTAIV website there is a food place i am guess we have to eat again which gets kind of annoying

now im hyped.....i love the gta series and have my copy paid off and all but i really wasnt hyped about gta iv after it was delayed.....but after seeing this and being a native new yorker myself (BROOKLYN) and taking the subway everyday and seeing how the gta iv subway maps are so similiar to the nyc subway map now im officially hyped

it just sounds to good to be true that this is the real map, but it does look so real. this could be real, or the best fake ive ever seen!

I guess the control scheme makes sense but I think the cell phone just screws up everything.  It really sucks that Rockstar had to take the control scheme from the 360 and put it on the PS3.  I'll probably need to pick up some of those Gioteck trigger attachments.
