Everyone should be more than aware of the constant wait and delay for the mysterious and seemingly ghost title, Duke Nukem Forever. This game has been promised to us for what feels like – forever. Finally, the day is coming, it’s drawing closer as each and every day passes. Garland-based developer 3D Realms has finally let the world know that 2008 could potentially be the year that Duke Nukem hits not only PC shelving everywhere, but possibly home console as well.
"We haven't formally announced any platforms for DNF," wrote 3D Realms President Scott Miller in an e-mail exchange. "But, of course hitting the big three makes the most sense (PC, PS3, 360)."
Miller was not concrete with this year being a definite answer but he had this to add, “We can't make an official announcement. Frankly, we may miss the mark by a month or two, but I feel very confident that we're on target this time. It’s definitely an internal push."
Obviously this title has been at the back of everyone’s minds for a long time. After consistent procrastination in regards to info on this title and everything surrounding it, it finally looks as though we’re going to get our hands on it. PSU will keep you posted on anything new revolving around Duke Nukem Forever.

Yawn. Anyone left who cares?
not me!!
Since I haven't been waiting for this game for 10 years, I still want it like I wanted it 9 years ago.
psn id: gingo.... it could also possibly hit shelves in 2015 the amount of times this has been delayed
for the time spent on this game....dont u think they could of made the main dude look better then he did in that short trailer....
It's time to kick a.s.s and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.
hint: THE GAME DOESN'T LOOK THAT COOL
a game thats been in development for what like 10 years? unless its nothing short of the second coming of christ then waiting for so long was all for not.
i dont understand the hype around this game.
Woo, I still care! Duke FTW :P It's aptly named no?
....... I d c
umm... wow that was fast
LOL I can't wait to see this bad or good. People have been waiting forever for this.
Im not gonna care about this until it arrives.. and even then i probebly wont be bothered looking at it. the Duke Nukem glory days are well and truely over.. I guess 3D Realms missed them.
is it me or is this an early april fool's?
I'm not holding my breath.
They pushed it back way too much and even if it does end up being a really good game it will never be as good as the 10 year wait. its kinda like building a PC you can either build it now with the most high end parts and have it last a few years or you can keep telling youself to wait for the next best thing, if you do that you would never build one thats what this game suffers from i cant see how this is going to stack up against KZ2 or another FPS due out this year
@ psiri: I second that. Never played a Duke Nukem title and this one doesn't catch my eye at all.
By the time this game releases, it will be the end of the world.
Somehow, i feel i should get this game although something tells me not to
Delays can be good things with a game even though this game has been more delayed than my mothers period (she had a hysterectomy)
How can a game really take 10 years to make? If they started 10 years ago the early code would be so out of date. Im guessing they have restarted it again and again and AGAIN! Anyways, who cares, Vegas 2, Haze and Unreal (in uk) are out soon : )
My interest in this game has faded but I think I'll pick it up if it's good enough
