BOOO Is what I say. Who will even think of getting this while games like Haze, COD4 & TimeShift come out? Activision is releasing this game on a bad time frame. I doubt they'll see much profit for this game.

Yeah a month ago this would have worked nicely, or perhaps post christmas too.

But I can't fault the PS3 getting another game.

Am I the only one who thinks that playing actual historical battles is a slightly tasteless?

PASS, if another ww2 fps comes out with NOTHING NEW I will not buy it. I'm seriously tired of these average ww2 games now. People don't care about it anymore.

@ DeadOnArrival06

Are you serious? This game is in DEVELOPMENT. Which means it wont hit the shores till like mid-late 08... and by that time we'll all want something new cause Haze, COD4 and TimeShift all come out within the next few months.

@djrussell...ummm...you may want to read the article again, there's an actual release date printed on it! (November 20th 2007 on 3 formats!).

It's true it's a bad time, but if it is a great game I'm sure sale will pick up after xmas. Although I do doubt it as there was no hype about this game whatsoever! So, good luck to Activision and Cauldron!

I honestly think this game will impress most gamers, though I do agree on really poor timing. I wouldnt be surprised if we see a delay on it.

For people that immediately write this off just because its either "just another WW2 FPS", or because "it's just another FPS, AND it's coming far too late", it's pretty closed-minded not to at least take a few minutes to give it a play. Keep in mind, this is from the devs that did Soldier of Fortune. I don't think this will disappoint, and even if it does by some chance, it's worth at least trying before slandering it.

Well if this game is developed by the same people who made the new soldier of fortune (which looks pretty gd tbh) then it should only be a budget game, so i expect they arent too bothered wether it sells well, just tht it sells.

This game is not targeting the normal gamer, this is positioned to go after the older gamers. The guys that watch nothing but the military channel, and have old books on WW II sitting around the house.
