According to gaming website Kotaku, Electronic Arts Montreal is planning on releasing downloadable content for its Third Person Shooter title, Army of Two, which is released in North America and Europe today.
“I couldn’t help but ask what Electronic Arts Montreal is up to, now that their game has shipped,” said Kotaku’s Brain Crecente. “Downloadable content, I was told. When I pressed for more details, all I was told was that there’s a ton of it being created for Army of Two.”
Army of Two focuses on cooperative-based gameplay, allowing players to team up with a built-in Partner Artificial Intelligence (PAI) or cooperate with other gamers in an effort “to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world."
One of the game’s major attractions is its in-depth weapon customisation option, which allows the player to upgrade a variety of weapons throughout the game, ranging from standard pistols, shotguns and automatics, to more advanced and destructive tools, such as rocket launchers, sniper rifles and grenade launchers.
Stay tuned for more coverage on the game in the near future.

Hmm.. customization stuff maybe? Or maybe they're already working on an Expansion.
YES YES YES YES YES this is exaclty what i want to hear but i think there should be a patch too
I'v heard loads about this game sounds kool. With this news of downloadable content even better can't wait to get this on friday which it's out in the UK.
this sounds good i love new content on any game
I know this is yet ANOTHER fps, but it should be a slightly refreshing fps in that you can have a mate round and run through the game with them. And lets hope the DLC is FREEEEEEEE
@richkaos: Actually Army of Two is a TPS (third person shooter) which is quite a relief from the dozens of FPS that are hitting the market lately.
Wow so you guys dont know crap about the game huh? Its a TPS and I just got it yesterday. There is no game like it. I played through the tuorial and the first level with my boy and it is killing Gueers of Wars coop. Get it its the best thing I have seen from EA in eons.
AO2 seems to be the sleeper hit of "08. lol
Downloadable content is always good
fantastic game...played it for an hour or so before coming to work...can't wait to go hame and keep playing...
psn id: gingo.... this game is just asking for DLC because of the customisation aspect to it
Ah man! I wasn't sure about this game. When I first heard and seen of it I was excited but then it wore off and wasn't sure about it once it launched, but thanks to your guys's comments, I think I might have to get it!
Though, the 'third-person' idea seems a little quirky compared to the likes of first person, ala COD4, this game is deffinitely worth the purchase.
It was just out yesterday, so I have only completed half of it -- as of 3:30am EST. Being a somewhat newbie to gaming, I found the challenge level a little strange -- if not unbalanced. One minute you are cruizing along with little effort to clear a level or two, then it seems like all of a sudden they throw you a seemingly uber-difficult level of play.
The strategy required here is all about learning curve -- balancing the Aggro and maintaning close proximinty to your partner is deffinitely a little different to get used to.
The customization of your equiptment is indeed way too cool, ala Right Said Fred!!
Perhaps the best stand out in this game is the fact that you don't have to watch your friends play it, because the full game Co-Op concept means that you and a friend actually play together!! Would that COD4 had this!!
Bottom line: Buy this game; play this game!!
Saw this game yesterday on TV,looked really good.
