2K Games details BioShock PS3 patchEidos Hungary, the developer behind the Xbox 360/PC series Battlestations, has expressed interest in working on Sony’s PlayStation 3 console, though wouldn’t commit to any specific details.
Speaking to videogamer.com, Senior Developer Atilla Soross discussed the possibility of bringing the popular World War II military franchise to the PS3, commenting, “We are certainly interested in PS3 as major current-gen platform, but at this point I cannot reveal more about our plans with the brand.”
Soross also hinted at a possible change to future instalments, shifting from a WWII era to more modern setting, adding, "... the team has several ideas about the settings of future Battlestations games and the modern era is one of them. However, currently we are focusing on realizing the potential in Battlestations Pacific."
Stay tuned for more details on the company’s plans for PS3 as soon as they become available.

THIS IS JUST NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT COD4 STUFF!!!!!! (1st!)
it worked for cod4, maybe it will too for this game?
I've actually never head of this "series".
screw them, I dont want a port of a old PC/360 title, dont even bother wasting their time and our time.
Well, it looks as if they want to do ANOTHER shooter. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm almost tired of hearing about shooters. In 2008, I'm getting Far Cry 2, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and Haze.... after I get those shooters, I'm not buying another shooter until another year or so. Shooters are great, but they aren't everything.
Anyways, getting back to the article, I think that the Battlestations developer might as well just announce that they want to do a PS3 exclusive title, I mean, what developer wouldn't want 50GB of Blu-Ray to work with?! If I was a 3rd party developer right now, I would only be developing exclusively for the Playstation 3 because I could do more with a game if I had Blu-Ray to work with.
Never heard of this game, sounds bad
.
Now that I really look at Blu-ray, it really reminds me of the original Xbox. I mean MS came out and ranted how certain things like car and environment damage could only be doneproperly on the xbox because it had a hard drive. Also things like voice commands and fast load time were things that only the xbox would have. How wrong MS was.
Now we have Sony and their zealots ranting almost the exact samething. I wonder how long it will take to slap down the people that say Blu-ray will improve gaming.
With enough luck they'll make their next game exclusive, highly doubtful, but still it couldn't hurt
