Capcom has revealed the first multiplayer details for its upcoming downloadable title, Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

According to IGN, the following will be confined to a variety of offline modes, which will take place in a zoomed-out 2D perspective, allowing four players a clear view of the action.

Deathmatch and Last Man Standing have all been confirmed to appear, though a major attraction will be the use of your bionic arm. Players will be able to use this unique ability to perform a variety of techniques including blocking incoming projectiles and obtaining distant power-ups.

The bionic arm will also play a key role in one particular game mode where the player’s objective is to remain airborne whilst avoiding incoming attacks.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed is due out on PlayStation Network, PC and Xbox Live Arcade next month.
