I actually got a few games last night but was still having slight problems when trying to invite a friend into my game. I kept getting a error message everytime I tried to join his game so I just gave up in the end.

same here every time i would try to join a game with my friend i had problems. a cannot connect to host message will always show

still takes like 5 mins to find a game to play :(

oh yeah it still takes 5 minutes to find a match. and the servers keep ending the games

It has run perfectly for me all along, i never really had any connection problems. Oh wait. The first time I tried to connect to an online server i got the Downloading Game Data thingy for about 20 minutes.

I bought it the day it came out, well my parents did, anyways... I haven't been able to play it since its a Christmast gift. I can't wait, but knowing that there were bugs being worked out, i can. 

For those of you having a problem connecting with your friends, it may be something to do with your internet setting. Could be your NAT Type setting is not compatible with each other.

it may still take a min or 2 to find a game but as far as in game online play....i have no complaints no drops no lost connection...nothing

the first few days it was a pain taking ages to find a game but now me and my freinds can all join and play together without a proble

I was in games for 8 hours yesterday. (Yes, 8 hours). The only thing is the servers DO keep ending the games. What's up with that? I also don't like how you can't spectate for more than a few minutes. I guess that makes you do things faster so you're not sitting in idle. Otherwise you'll have to wait another 5 minutes to find a match.

Same here DParadise. I have no problem getting in and playing games, although sometimes it can be a little slow joining matches. But like you, I get errors occuring when trying to get friends to join my game or vise versa. It usually quits out my whole party session and I have to set it up again, although everyone can usually join me once I do set it up again. Apart these few little bugs, this game is brilliant! I even prefer it to Resistance now.

psn id: gingo... there was only a two hour period on friday night that it didn't work for me but i'm glad they have fixed it so everyone can enjoy this immense game

Ive been playing it since Tuesday and it really does run smooth. In regards to idle time I'd say its less then 5 minutes, I gotta' tell you guys though, this game is addicting, I'm already at sargent class and gotten killed 100 times!m but Ive also killed 94 poor souls, anyone with a PS3 should not miss out on Call Of Duty 4, now if only they had Split screen online mode.

I've been experiencing some serious wait times for games. And some serious lag. But I've yet to try it out today.

what a game brought it after i was slowly gettin bored of resistance got home  played though the game i thought they have finally done a top top game on ps3 went to play online oh no what!!!!! i have to wait for 5 hours get on to  game again ps3 online crap sort it out!!!!!!!

It's running great for me.

online sucks for me last night I waited nearly 3 hours to try and get on a game and had no luck. This is really starting to piss me off, I've done everything possible port forwarding, DMZ, even giving my ps3 a static ip address, but still nothing.

 Cant play !!!!! takes 2 long too find a game !!

can any one help me it is taking over 2hrs 4 me to get in to a game on call of deauty 4 online realy anoying cus its an awsom game plz help??:(
