At the Microsoft pre-E3 press conference tonight, Grant Collier, the director of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, announced that the Xbox 360 will be getting an exclusive online beta.

The beta will be distributed via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Collier didn't confirm any dates or any other information during the event.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the first ever Call of Duty game to break free from the World War II era, taking place in moden times. In the game, four Russian terrorist leaders try to take over the government. The most important of those four leaders, called Zakhaev, is a lot like the dictator Stalin, and he intends to bring back communism to Russia.
