This is probably the game I'm looking forward to the most...ever!!! Sure MGS4 is around the corner and it is an Exclusive... But RE5 is probably my most wanted game of all time. Played every Resident Evil there is and this one will just take my obsession further... Can't F*************************** wait.

Awesome news.. i wanna find out a bit more about Dead Rising 2 as well.. and of course Left 4 Dead looks to be another great zombie title coming out later this year :) (hopefully for the PS3 while Valve is at it)

resident evil games are boring and capcom sucks so not that excited.

zero chance this comes out this year...and I'd love to eat those words come xmas but a highly doubt that.

Can't wait for RE5.

Side note: Who cares what that Surfer Girl has to say? She has already proved to know nothing about video games

^ Agreed, no need to mention Surfer Girl.  RE5 will be sweet - hopefully the majority of enemies wont be black otherwise we'll be seeing another HUGE blowout in Congress about evil videogames and their violent (and now racist) nature.

I hate u capcom, i hate u so much it gets me angery playing DMC4 knowing its on the 360 but re4 is one of my fav games of all time next 2 ninja giedan so ill tune the other cheak and give u money,  just this one time, ill still feel bad playing re5.

You are right about that...A white guy killing a bunch of black people...First person to protest is Al Sharpton...I really do hope they include other people instead of just black people because basically the non gamer black race ( politcal people and parents will jump on it like hotcakes)

I like the RE games, but maybe they should stop soon? The story is getting too dragged out IMO. I liked the plot a lot better in RE1, 2, and 3. Code Veronica sucked, RE4 had nothing to do with the first 3 and Zero was more of the same (as 4). I liked RE4, and I'll probably like RE5, but give it a rest for god's sake.

I love the RE series. I'm excited to be able to play as Chris again. I wish Surfer girl would have a tall glass of STFU. No one cares what she thinks or what she has to say.

RE 5 is definitly going to be a huge title. When more games like that roll out in 08, the unresal engine 3 will show off the ugliest looking games. It's sad but true. Too bad all developers banked on it, already. They could have made theri own engine, with progressively better EVERYTHING like companies such as insomniac, capcom, and square enix have.

If gears of war 2 is on the unreal engine, the say goodbye to any one saying "wow" in 2k8/9.

Ehh. Never been a big fan of the RE series. Even RE4 wasn't that pinacle of gaming that just about every other person in the world thought it was. Maybe it was the setting? I dunno, but RE4 to me was a good game but... didn't give me that feeling of total emersion and giddiness with enjoyment.

I'm not counting RE5 out... but then again, I'm not excited about it either. There are tons of titles that will be on my wishlist before this one.

Why did Rev Al start complaining about the villagers!? RE4 was a bunch of spanish speaking beaners and you dont see any Hispanic/Latinos complaining. This talk of racism and bias needs to stop already!

RE4 WAS the reboot of the series, Compared to RE 1-3and code veronica that game is a huge step forward for capcom's franchaise.

i loved re in the old days, but i didn't quit get what re4 had to do with the original story? so i never really bothered in buying it, will re5 continue the original plot? will we ever see that double crossing whesker again? and will we see umbrellas home base to shut them down? just a Q: is surfer girl sleeping with all of you at psu? because i don't see why you quote the bu11$hit  that bitçh has to say!!!!

RE5 is, hands down, the title I am most excited about for my PS3.  I would actually buy a Meltdown 360 if it was exclusive on that system (and that is saying something!)  RE4 actually got me back into video games again.  I played it thru three times and usually I get bored after the first time thru a game-
