If RE5 has trophy support there will be no reason to buy the x360 version for those who have both consoles IMO.

I would be pretty pissed if Xcrap360 got this one as a timed exclusive. M$ is running out of options so here we go again with the "hey lets try to buy everyone out" solution.

Let bill gates and his merry xbots have it as an exclusive, quite frankly i couldnt give two hoots, bring on motorstorm 2 and resistance two, and in the style of Lee macqueen from the apprentice.............NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!

Metal Gear?  Check.  Gran Turismo? Check.  Dualshock?  Check.  All I need now is Final Fantasy and SOCOM and it feels like a Playstation.

I don't even understand why this game is comming out on the 360 anyway.  Capcom seems to have caught the money bug like a lot of the other developers.  Also why doesn't PS3 get any "timed exclusives?"

As long as its released sometime this year I will be happy.

well if you have been a gamer for a while then you know how  rumors go in the gaming industery. if this turn out to be true that would be a stab in the back by capcom. there wouldnt be a RE5 if it wasent for Sony so capcom better think about that first. if anything it should come out for PS3 first but if it happen dont be surprize look what they did with DMC4......do anybody know if DMC4 sold on crapbox

Well, if Capcom isnt faithfull to what they say now and give xbox a time exclusive, they defenetly lose me as a fan. I obviously still play the game, but there would be no more high hopes for this company.

That doesn't debunk anything it just reaffirms that it will be a multi-platform title.

If this were to happen. I'm sure all Sony fans would give up on anything to do with Capcom.

They were happy to bend over for MS with the first Xbox  when they flashed their green to em and were more than happy to destroy the Dino Crisis series for them by releasing that horendous Dino Crisis 3

We've already seen how happy they continue that butt thumping relationship with the DMC series and RE Series as well

MS wants to buy a timed exclusive deal from capcom? Even if they did it wouldnt hurt the PS3. BTW, "Timed Exclusive" just means that it would come out for 360 first for some time (prolly months) before it hits any other console.

The only thing that gets me is how they are making games based on the 9GB limit of the 360. Imagine MGS4 on 360. It couldnt happen so we at least know this game will not be bigger than 9GBs unless capcom decided to make 2 dual layered disks for the 360.

Not saying this wont be great (RE4 for the PS2 is a masterpiece) but i feel many games that show up on PS3 are being limited by the 360.
