Capcom has revealed that it will be distributing a patch for the PlayStation 3 version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition with immediate effect.
According to a post by Capcom’s Seth Killian on the company’s official blog, the patch itself will update the networking code to “optimize the online experience,” and is set for “immediate release.”
The PS3 version of Lost Planet incorporates everything present in the original Xbox 360 version, in addition to several exclusive features, including all-new playable characters (each possessing their own unique abilities) as well as 16 multiplayer maps available from the start.

did people even buy this game? I sure didnt. And is it true that Capcom, a month after the PS3 release of Lost Planet, released an even better version exclusive on 360?
I need to find out more about this game, unlike most of the crapcom chanters here i actually like capcom, not to sure how this game is though
I didnt buy it and i wont either, I refuse to buy lazy 360 ports from a lazy crapcom, in fact i wont buy lazy 360 ports FULL STOP!
A patch already - what a piece of crap port. This game is old and stale like my granny's fart. @Lotus save yourself some money. Lost Planet wasnt a great game a year or two ago and nothing has changed. Just keep your money for Res Evil 5 or something like that.
Well maybe I'll rent this game but this last time I saw this I wasn't to fond of the same old snow theme. They say the graphics are beautiful but you're just walking through the same old thing throughout the whole game am I wrong?!?!
I dunno, I think I'll get this game regardless of the naysays. It interests me and at least we get the game, even if its just a lazy port.
psn id: gingo....played the demo and was extremely disappointed with this game it was definetely needing work but capcom decided to give us another poor port
blahblahblah. lead your games on the ps3 and you would have this friggin problem. Case and point, next topic.
Won't make me buy it.
