Codemasters announced today that the upcoming title, Damnation, will be releasing sometime in the winter of 2008.  Developed by Blue Omega Entertainment, Damnation is expected to be an evolutional process to the shooter genre. Hopefully this will lead to a refreshing experience instead of another stale outing.

According to Codemasters, Damnation will feature, "...huge, open environments, frenetic combat, daredevil acrobatics and high-octane vehicle-based stunts."  The title is being labeled a shooter gone vertical.
