I played the demo and the graphics are okay.  It looks like the cartoon.  The controls could be a little better, but fighting wasn't that bad.  The cut scenes though...the gayest thing I've seen in a game...EVER!  The first guy you beat and then you're holding him, waiting for Piccolo to finish him, and it looks like you're raping him.  The second fight in the demo, you beat the little monster guy and then he pops up and it looks like he's forcing you to mate with him.  WTF?  Burst Limit indeed.

DBZ isn't overrated, i do understand that the past installments have been let downs excluding the first Budokai,  but this game does look promising

well i have to disagree with ya there Versus except on the story part lol. But regarding the character list WTF! Talk bout stepping backwards, they are running full sprint if thats all the chars available even with the restricted story. And they should have SSJ 2 Goku in there as he is technically that in the cell saga. Oh well my bro is getting this so i can play without having to pay coz i dont think this will be worth full price.

And guys whats with the ridiculous banning of (Cant say it obviously, but the opposite of heaven lol)

@ Bracomadar Then you haven't seen DBZ! I think it's really cool, and all the cutscenes lives up to the manga/anime!

Though the english lipsynching is a bit bad... hope we can get Japanese voiceovers... That should be possible since it's fittable on a DVD.

Grew up watching dbz,pretty crappy if they dont have all the chracters in this series rocks they should have it all in 1,dragonball,dragonball z and dragonball gt.not to mention i really really really really would love to see a brand new dragonball series,pleaseeeeee.

I loved it. Great demo! I use to watch it when i was young. Amazing show.

Oh, I've seen the cartoon, I just didn't care for it.  My friends had it on video, I tried watching it, I tried to like it, but I just couldn't.  There were parts that seemed okay, but then outta nowhere it got goofy and it just ruined it for me.  It seemed like they had a script with missing pages and then handed them over to a 5 year old to fill in the missing parts.  Sorry if you think nobody could possibly watch your beloved Dragon Ball Z and find it dumb, but it happens.

I've played the demo multiple times. It's been a while since I've played a DBZ game (Budokai 2) so this seems really promising. About the graphics...I'm not THAT impressed. I've seen the video for the new Naruto game and they look WAY better. So the age old question applies here, graphics or gameplay?  What to choose?

Thats so bad, thats nothing. This one is going to blow bad. Im so dissappointed with this game. I was hoping for more character than any other DBZ game, since it was on this gen platforms. Im very angry with Atari. I think thats who makes them.

Damn what a let down, why vegeta have to be Super form and goku only SS, where is SS2 and 3? 3 is my favorite, I thought budokai 3 was the best it just needed more improvements.

seems prety low as their is not enough characters unlike budiki 3 and their is not much of a story line why dont they make up some new characters and start after the gt series

Anyway, now that I'm finished laughing, a few things.

1) Once again, they start the story over from the very begining. WHY!?!?

DBZ has too much to it (indepth strory, not to mention the "lost episodes") for them to keep telling/showing us the same old story that we all already know. They could have a least made the story go as far as the Buu saga. We're currently utilizing the blu-ray disc people. It holds A LOT MORE!!!!

2) The graphics look just like budokai 3 (the best DBZ game thus far) which isn't really bad. But they need to make it look just like the anime now. IT'S FULL TIME!!!! And the enegy surrounds them like fire, it doesn't emit off them like stream!!!! GET IT RIGHT!!!! Sheesh.

3) 21 characters? C'mon. The first budokai had more people than that!!!!!!!!!! This is just ridiculous.

While I'm inexplicably upset, and could go on and on forever about countless things( that are/were upsetting, surprising, fulfilling, etc), DBZ is and will always be my favorite animated series so I'll be picking this one up regardless. But they need to stop playing around and focus on making all future DBZ games (almost) exactly like the show. (Since making a game exactly like the show seems impossible for them.)     

the demo was fun to play i might get this, i was big fan of the show back in the day.
