That is the lamest excuse I seen.. Like I've said before.. Im a hard core Burnout Fan.. But I cant stand F***king EA for the fact that they literally show you what they main focus is.. And that $$$$$$$$$$$.. Buch of money hungry lazy bastards!!! Here is what would have been the solution to their problem... Instead of wasting their damn time with that POS rehashed Madden 07 that they put out for the PS3 when it launch..They should have skipped Madden 07 for the PS3 and consentrate and really learn the new platform.. Being that you already brought out Madden 07 on the 50 F**king platforms. (yes Im exaggerating).. But Noooooooo.. God forbid.. That poor EA misses out on that Madden 07 $$$$ for PS3... Heavens No.. Its not that Im a Sony fan or of any other console.. This is a total slap in the face to games.. You have a Company who has the license to Football games on any console and you would think that  a company that has accomplished a goal like that would come with their A game..  In terms of development.. One of these days their going to get theirs...

So what...EA's only had the PS3 to develop on for a year?  Did they NOT make Madden 2007 or did that version somehow magically only take them 2 days to put together?  Admittedly, it took them 3 versions to get 60fps on the 360 too, but jeez!  Seems a little long to me...

I was going to buy it friday, but I won't now. Hopefuly next year things will be different cause I heard phil harrison say next year PS3 will be the lead platform, (fingers crossed).

MS should've cancelled and gave later release date to make a better quality instead they turn around and say Fcuk SONY, here you go. . PS3 owners would understand, if they  gave a later release for PS3 for the better, instead of half @zz job.

fuk that ea are just a bunch of lazy asses. look at all the kick as.s games that are coming out that claim they aare only usin about 30% of the ps3's power. at least they are trying to figure everything out and make their game as good as they can make it. while ea just stares up from the lift and decides not to go snowboarding.

Its ok EA....I have crap-tastic 07 version of Madden....and knowing full well you didn't improve the game means why buy 08??? I'm not....and I know tons of other people who won't either. They have had over two years of development time on PS3 and they can't get 60 frames per sec. This is the second Madden game and they have like two NBA  games...made countless NCAA games and everything else...and they still can't figure out 60 frames per sec. You look at tons of other games out there that do it and those that don't have immense levels with intense character details....madden has neither.....and 30 fps is crap....try playing and having your guy pause on your screen because of frame rate problems when you are trying to split a defender or time a pass....crap I tell ya. No Madden this year...and no other EA sports games....at least with those I can go with 2K sports and sony studios.

The why even release it? if you KNEW it was gona run like sh1t then don't bother! People will just go out and get the PS2 version for all their trouble if they're still that intent on playing it... not like it's much different anyway.

A game developer will say just about anything these days to take the heat off of them.  Despite this situation, I am getting really tired of EA's games turning out to be the same from year to year.  Small changes in the game for the same big price.  I was extremely excited about FIFA 08, now I believe I going to skip it.  EA seems to be giving all gamers the shaft.  I think we should give them the shaft back where it hurts, in the pocket book!  PS3, it's in the box!

EA are money grabbing lazy large corporate devs and we only have ourselves to blame (me included). Why do we keep buying their sequals thinking that they are going to be much better each time when quite often they are worse than the older versions. It has been known for me to trade in my old EA title to get the new only to be really dissapointed when i get it home. All they are concerned about is getting titles out however poor just to make the money. At the moment the PS3 versions are just lazy ports and untill the sales of the PS3 surpass the 360 a lot of developers are going to stick with the lazy ports. Come on devs PLAYSTATION  has been your main bread and butter source for years, show some respect and start putting some effort in.

If EA wasn't making Need For Speed, Burnout and AoT, I'd set them ALL on fire rigt now.  If any of those 3 games fail to impress me, their families go too.

There was only a noticeable difference between the two versions when they slowed down the recording a lot. Who cares if it still plays smooth when you watch a recording of the game 10x slower.   WRONG....Theres a big difference if you play a full game one after another on both consoles.....Don't kid yourself.
