Despite Namco Bandai pulling the PS3 listing for two of its titles, Eternal Sonata appears to be confirmed by Famitsu for the PlayStation 3. Furthermore, there will be additions to the PS3 version according to Japanese gaming magazine, including new playable characters (Crescendo and Serenade) and the ability to change clothes.
Eternal Sonata is apparently set for release for the PlayStation 3 in Spring 2008.
The title describes the adventures of famed composer Frederic Chopin as he explores his dream world filled with wondrous characters and beautiful environments. In a land where music influences both combat and exploration in mystical ways, Chopin sets out on a journey not only of self-discovery, but of serenity.
In addition, Ryu ga Gotoku 3 is confirmed to be in development only for the PlayStation 3.
Also known as Yakuza 3, Ryu ga Gotoku 3 is a SEGA action-adventure title with a story focusing primarily on the criminal side of Tokyo life. In a society where honor is key, one organization stands above all: the Yakuza. The game will be set in the Edo period in 1605 and will feature a range of fighting styles including fists and blades.

When was the second Yakuza released. Am I tired or just plain confused?
a game based in the yakuza sounds very interesting.
psn id: gingo.... that would be a couple of great games for the ps3 to get
1605 ??!! You got that right !! Thats like samurai times !!
Hmmm.....I will be keeping my eyes on that Eternal Sonata. Lets see if it proves to be good enough to make it all the way in my RPG collection.
I knew that Sonata game would be released on PS3. I mean ... it's like inevitable.
Well if Namco want to sell more than a thousand copies of eternal Sonata than it makes sense to release it on PS3. The Yakuza games are aparrantly good, I missed out out on both Yakuza 1 and 2.
I hope this is true
