Expanded Burnout Paradise demo details

Posted on January 5th, 2008 at 15:55 EDT

Scheduled to release later this month, Burnout Paradise serves as Electronic Arts first big title of the New Year. To kick it off right, EA recently released a demo to get gamers into the vibe to purchase the game later on this month. However, through much ranting, EA found that their initial demo was not enough to give gamers an interest in the game, thus forcing them to upgrade the demo to better standards.

To make the demo a more enjoyable experience, EA doubled the number of players in a race from four to eight, which makes things a bit tenser. Additionally, EA added 13 extra Freeburn challenges or as EA comments, "3 challenges in 5, 6 and 7 player sessions, and 4 new challenges for those playing in 8 player sessions"

The demo is currently available through the PlayStation Network and it will be available until the 14th of January. The game itself, will released on the 22nd in North America, with a European release following on the 25th.

Dont care what anyone say's, being an old skool spetrum 48k player, I know "gameplay" when I see it, and this game is WELL worth the download. Stunning graphics and undeniably superb gameplay. I urge any PS3 owner to download the demo, WELL worth it.

ps. No, you dont have to download the demo again.

i feel, the game is nothing special. the graphics are standard, ea claims pro street has a better crash damage system, and the map is crap as you dont even know where your going, getting tired of the nitrous bar only changing color in different burnout games, and they thought they'd include a dj, i think from ssx3. multiplayer, and online play are standard for games now to. no next gen changes ere people
