Bethesda has named Inon Zur as the music composer in its forthcoming post apocalyptic title, Fallout 3.
Gamers may be familiar with Zur’s previous works, having contributed to scores for the critically acclaimed First Person Shooter (FPS) Crysis, along with Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.
"He's created a score that has epic sweep; from the lonely ambience of the wasteland to dramatic fights for survival,” commented Todd Howard, Fallout 3’s Executive Producer.
“Fallout 3 is one of the most engaging and demanding projects I've scored,” added Zur. “It was very rewarding to put all my creative energy into supporting Bethesda's vision for the game. I’m very proud of the outcome, and look forward to sharing the music with the players."
Those who are interested can listen to three samples of Zur’s compositions from the game on the official website.
Fallout 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 later this year.

love that guy
I can safely say that this game will have a great soundtrack.
Music is a very important aspect of a game. If you wanna know how important it is, try muting your TV set and play God of War 2! Still a great game but its orchestral sound makes it even better and more engaging.
Close your eyes and imagine in your mind... something like that...
tantaaannnn, tantanton, ton, ton, taranran tantan... ; )
A great sountrack is something I've always liked about Bethesda's games, seriously I can still remeber Morrowind's and Oblivion's sountrack with no issue
i think Bethesda is great when it comes to all aspects of creating a good game. mainly gameplay and music which they showed in Oblivion.
i might buy this game. if i hear good things about it. it's hard to trust a gsme that you don't know if it's good or not.
