The saga of Fatal Inertia could be approaching an end with rumours that the game will finally be released some time in Spring 2008.
The game was first announced as a PS3 exclusive, before it then became multiplatform. Rumours then surfaced that the PS3 version had been cancelled, and then the Xbox 360 version released.
But publisher Koei is now prepared to bring the futuristic racer to the PS3 despite the problems they had with the Unreal Engine 3.
Although an exact release date was not given, we can expect to see Fatal Inertia in Spring 2008. But considering the gap between the 360 release (in September) and the projected PS3 release, gamers will be expecting bonus stuff.
The long running frustration for PS3 gamers regarding this game could soon be over, but fans must still wait for a concrete release date.

This has been out for about a month now in Oz, I guess there may be a patch for it here if "bonus" is included in the US version. I've never played it, don't know what the deal is with it!

Never played this 1. I used to play Wipeout and it was rather good. If this 1 sucks, they shuld stick with the XBox. We want quality not quantity.
Funny thing is, the xbots rejoiced about "stealing" it from PS3, and it turned out to be mediocre at best. Be careful what you wish for.
This game is just sad. Unreal Tournament 3 running on Unreal Engine 3, and it's doing an outstanding job. Not only is the developers getting it out before Christmas, but they praise the PS3 version above all other versions, including PC.

This was possibly the worst racing game i've played since star wars - super bombad racing...sheesh!

This game has been under the radar for far to long, and yes I played the demo on LIve and Wipeout is a lot better then this. >_>
It had so much potential when it ws announced but now it's just a sloppy future racer that no one cares about anymore. Forget about "bonus stuff" how about remaking the game from scratch so that it dosent suck balls.
