Is the graphical quality better or badder than Xbox 360 version/PC version?

Nice, now we need a release date..

Well im sure that they have done some improvements and maybe get space for more on the ps3, but they will try to keep graphics to same level and use the rest on important improvements.

y'know it's funny how quickly fanboys jump on to something new...this is the same game half of the PS3 only crowd declared was terrible because it was 360 only...

Don't get me wrong, it's a phenomenal game that i would reccomend to anyone but to see people excited about it after mocking it and slating it just amuses me.

JD-82: why would you assume that the 12 people who have shown interest in this game are the same people who decried that it sucked when it was a 360 exclusive?

The game looked great on the PC and 360 and I can't wait to play it on my PS3!

@11 tell me about it and watch resident evil.do u remember everyone or most people on ere saying they aint gonna buy it cause of capcom being a microsoft sucker,but u just watch all these people will buy it n forget what they said,i for 1 will keep my word n not by a capcom product again untill re5 becomes ps3 exclusive n drop 360 exclusive games.

Seems like 1080P now, and improvements on the Big Daddy I think.

Hopefully it really does come out in October and people who've wanted it actually get it.

Hopefully doesn't take too long to port it on ps3. And that i'll be a quality stuff. :D

This game should rock on the PS3. Graphics is rumored to be step up from the xbx360. And it should be better.

I beleive they stated it would look better, more improved, so that it would give reason for people who have already played it to play it again.

You can compare the PS3 and 360, but don't compare a game to the PC. PC's are so far beyond consoles in computing and graphical power. That aside I still haven't played this title yet, I'll definitely try this one out though.

It might look like all PS3 owners are suddenly excited about the game  but your only seeing the quiet group who wished we DID have it and chose not to say anything about it. it's just like when Capcon was getting hate for going multiplatfomr this generation but yet was still keeping games like Dead Rising exclusive, The people pissed then are still pissed now, but many chose to stay neutral, those people nw have a right to be happy.

Honestly I couldnt give a rats a$s about the game, Yeah it's nice that PS3 owners arent being C Bocked anymore but I heard about the game for a straight solid week form my co-workers when the PC version came out and I've heard enough, and all that didnt make me want to play it now so I'm not suddenly on it's jock today.

You guys act like every single person posting on here about how excited they are the same people that said it sucked.  Thats a pretty poor generalization.  About half of PS3 owners said it sucks?  Where do you pull these numbers from?

Stop trying to pull this into a my console your console debate.  Live with the fact that its no longer an exclusive and move on.  Seriously.  Who cares what random people said about the game.  Why don't you find out who actually said it and then see if they changed their minds.  Stop putting everyone else into a catagory not fit for everyone.

It's a great game. You guys should buy it.
And people still arguing about the "console war" and exclusive titles - get over it. The Xbox 360 and PS3 have the same graphics. Oh yeah and that guy who was talking about how he's not going to buy RE5 because it's no longer exclusive... wow, stop being a baby and just buy it. How does its exclusivity effect you anyway if it's still on your console?

360 wins on the graphics

 the PS3 graphics will probably be better than the 360's version, simply because the developers have been working with the game longer. Oblivion was the same way: slightly better on the PS3 because the developers waited before developing it. Typically its virtually impossible to determine the graphical quality of a game based on screenshots. You really need to see video clips in high quality before significant differences can be seen. 

Well, I already beat this on my PC with dx10 graphics maxed out, and I can't see this looking good. I guess I'm glad it's coming to the ps3, but I think most everyone who was interested in this game in the first place have probably already played/beat it. I did notice an earlier article posted here about the game, and everyone was bashing it saying how "it sucks, I could care less if it comes to ps3" and now I am reading about all these people being excited about it, not that it's been officially confirmed. LOL. Fanyboys suck.

It could looks way better than the 360 version, but if they can't port it the right way, then we all get screwed.

This was the one game I cared about missing out on and I'll readily admit that since I will never buy a 360. I never said this game sucked simply because I never played it. I wouldn't know if it did, however I doubt it, considering all the praise it got. Made me consider getting a 360 - at least for a couple minutes.

Thank you 2K for working with Sony to possibly extend & augment the current version with all the DLable 360 content already included on the retail disc(based on the previous article). Good things DO come to those who wait, and this will definitely be a Day 1 purchase for me. Thanks 2K!

This game is so good, loved it on the 360. I've you've not played already definitely pick this game up!

you ask me it looks exactly the same as the PC version...which to me although at the start was fun, it got extremely repetetive and in the end i lost interest in it...

Just a tip: I wouldn't get my hopes up about it turning out better than the 360 version or having additional content. Considering that they are probably only porting it to PS3 because the PS3's sales are rising and they see a big pool of gamers they can get some more money from, they will most likely just port it to PS3 as quickly as they can. It may even turn out looking worse if they used GPU features that don't have a direct equivalent on the RSX. They may choose to use a cheap substitute or leave it off altogether. On the other hand, who knows, maybe they'll surprise me. It's being developed by their California studio, rather than their Boston studio, and I don't really know much about that group. Hopefully since it's built on Unreal Engine, they won't have too much trouble moving it to the PS3. Fortunately for me, I won't be buying it to find out. I've never understood why people liked this game so much. Seriously, what's so great about BioShock?

Edit: Looks like I was proved wrong before I even posted. A few articles up it says that it will have "new features and content". I still wouldn't get my hopes up, though. Then again, that goes for pretty much anything.
