As much as I love the mean killing machine named kratos if gears pulls of 4 player co op then it will be an interesting game to play.

Yes!!!!!!! GoW3 at last.Coming from Sony, I know this is definitely going to be a killer app. I must admit I am a little scared; why - because I am not yet sure Sony is already capable of showing us how pwerful the cell is. It will not make sense for them to release the mighty GoW3 when they are not yet capable of using the cell VERY effectively, as the did with the EE of the ps2. GoW and GoW2 virtually raised the bar as concerns the development of games on the ps2. So please Sony I know u guys r masters on your console, so I wish u all the best.What ever the case I will play GoW3. Gears of  War 2 will likely be as great as th first sequel. If it comes to the ps3 that will make me 2 times happier.

i think id be awesome if gow2 came to the ps3, but gears got old fast. once you played it over 200 hrs online there was nothing else to really do.

Watching these two monster games go head to head will be interesting to see. Both franchises with their lastest games sold over 1 million in the first week, so seeing the sequels duke it out will be epic! I'm going to have to side with God Of War, though. Nothing MS has aside from maybe Halo, and that's a big MAYBE, can go toe to toe with the wreaking machine that is God Of War!

Both will sell well....jeez. Everyone with a PS3 (and has an IQ higher than that of a grain of rice) will be getting GOW3 and any loser who's crapbox 3sh!tty hasn't gone tits-up with the  three RRoD will be getting GeoW2. And how can people be asking if GeoW2 will be coming to the PS3....you might aswell ask another ding-bat question like...."ahh..drr...ah so does dis means GOW3 will be on da 360?.."...come on people.

Wasn't Gears a first party game? If not, that'd be a huge blow to M$ if 2 came to PS3 :D How sweet would that be :D Either way, I'd get GoW3 first anyway.

I personally liked Gears. However, it's possible that it could go multiplatform since the Unreal engine is working so well on the PS3. Epic would have to change the title since "Gears of War" is licensed by MS, but it's not impossible. It's like Bioshock. They couldn't name it System Shock 3 because EA owned SS1 and 2, so they just renamed it. On the flip side, we know God of War will stay exclusive to the PS3. So, there's a possibility that we could hit the jackpot.

God of war and gears of war are two differnt games. one you melee stuff, the other you blow stuff up with all kinds of stupidly named guns. theyre different Genres. just get both and dont try to make a war out of it sheesh.

GoW vs. GoW?

MS would die before they let Sony get their GoW.  Cough Bioshock Cough.  I'm just glad to hear GoW III is finally in development.  I'll be in line at midnight if I have to.  I loved the first 2 more than any other game I've ever played.

You really can't compare God of War with Gears of War.  I know Gears of War wants to be like God of War but they can't, To try to make it close, the makers of Microsoft gave the game the same initials, "G.O.W."  God of War is a All Around Action Game; Gears of War is a Shooter.  To me, if  "Resistance Fall of Man" Graphics was like Gears of War, We would have that game Whooped. That's if you ask me.

God of war is a piece of CRAP game that should have never been made. I am the best gears of war player ever in the rankings. god of war is dumb you cant play online and once you beat the GARBAGE campain you just go and sell the damn game.
