Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to hit Europe soon

Posted on February 12th, 2008 at 21:19 EDT

Europe, a prospering game market for publishers, generally gets the shaft when it comes to release dates, bested only by Australia. It isn't rare to see a title launch in Europe one, two, or even as long as six months after its North American release. That practice seems to be decreasing a little during this generation cycle, but when we heard about this latest date, we did a double take.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be surfacing in Europe come late March, while America's current release date is still a tentative 'mid-April.' We still don't know a price for Europe however, though we know it will retail in the US on Blu-ray and via PSN for $39.99. The Blu-ray will include bonus content not seen in the PSN download.

We'll solidify these hazy dates for you as soon as we can.

If this is priced the same way as Warhawk (which was 39,99$ -> 29,99 euros), GT5:P will be 29,99 euros in Europe

Must admit that i too tend to wait for the full blown GT games but as its now been so long and i havent got an older (PS3) version to play i may stump up the cash for this.
