Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to hit March 19th, $39.99?

Starting today, gamers may now pre-order Gran Turismo 5 Prologue via their local Gamestop or EB Games for only $5. According to Gamestop's listing, Polyphony Digital will be releasing GT 5 Prologue on March 19th, 2008 for only $39.99 USD.

For those of you paying attention to the game's release in Japan, you know since it's arrival on December 13th, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has sold nearly 160,000 copies.

For a title that is an early look at what the overall product will be, Prologue is simply amazing. Currently Polyphony Digital has the game running at 1080p and at 60fps.

*Update: It was brought to our attention that the Famitsu score posted by Ripten via Neogaf was fake and Famitsu has yet to review GT 5 Prologue.

psn id mustang750r.... gt 5 prologue american ver. will be online first day since online mode came out in december 25, 16 players online, and if i recall correctly by the time we get it it would be updated to close to 70 cars and would be able to interact with HOME
