Infinity Ward today announced that the forthcoming Call of Duty 4: Modern Warefare will feature an original soundtrack orchestrated by prestigious videogame and film composer, Harry Gregson-Williams.
Videogame aficionados will no doubt recognise Gregson-Williams’ works in a number of popular titles, where his talents are perhaps most attributed to his work on Konami’s Metal Gear Solid series. In addition to games, Gregson-Williams has also contributed to a number of successful films including Enemy of the State, Man On Fire and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
“Harry Gregson-Williams was the perfect choice to craft an immersive and rich soundtrack that matches the heightened atmosphere and tension of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,” commented Infinity Ward Studio Head, Grant Collier.
“Harry’s wealth of experience, passion and intensity together with the talents of young composer, Stephen Barton, shine through in the score draws gamers deeper into the epic and cinematic experience that is Call of Duty 4.”
Call of Duty 4 is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 5.

First! Ha ha..
I have nothing to contribute on this artical except that I'll get this for the PC - as I have in the past for all except the third one. - I got that on PS2.
dam i was hoping never to see another "fist post woot" type of person o well
this game will be amazing
psn id: gingo... very cool i thought the enemy of the state soundtrack was great for the type of film so this should make cod4 even more intense
Truth to tell, much like Hans Zimmer, he has become a bit generic.
Nevertheless he does bring an overall level of quality to the Videogame market.
Good to hear.
J.D.I.
Bring it on!
Really like his work in movies as well as in video games. Though him an Beltrami are one of my fav's.
I don't really concentrate on the music in the background.
