Heavenly Sword demo is ready for PlayStation 3 gamers, although it's up to Sony on when they get it.

Sony’s Playstation Network has not been very successful lately with bring demos and other features to gamers. With E3 passing by, many PS3 gamers were hoping for such content to finally be arriving in the store but had the same luck as before. Today this could all be changed.

Heavenly Sword developers have announced that the demo is ready to be uploaded to the store but its up to Sony to decide when it finally goes live.

Developer statement from the Ninja Theory boards. “People at home really want to get hands on too. Well, let me just tell you all that the dev team has finished work on the demo.. that's it... it's in the bag... so now it's a case of Sony deciding when they feel is the best time to release it to PlayStation Network.“

The developers also commented on the progress of the game saying the game is nearly done and is going through the stage of fixing all the bugs and other problems within the game. Which means along with a demo, gamers can also expect the full game soon.

Sony has announced that the EU Playstation store will receive the Heavenly Sword demo on July 26th. No other region dates were disclosed at this time but stay tuned to PSU for more info.
