All Alone in the Dark PS3 changes detailedThe PlayStation Portable has outsold Nintendo’s DS in Japan for the second week running, as sales of the portable gaming system continue to climb on a weekly basis.
The PSP sold 75,912 units for the week ended February 10, beating out the DS for a second week, which sold 60,464 in the same period.
Elsewhere, hardware sales for remaining consoles declined from the previous week, with the PlayStation 3 selling 23,985 units, down from almost 42,000 the week before.
Despite this, the next-generation console continued to outsell its main rival, the Xbox 360, by a pretty substantial margin, as did the PlayStation 2, which totalled just over 11,000 units.

ok, so psp is selling better, maybe it's a sighn to say that they all have a DS already? ps3 only selling twice as much as ps2?wtf, that §uçk's big time and just look at the sales figures of the wii?OMFG i don't know how nitendo does to sell as many wii's in japan when some shops in france have difficulties in having a few in stock, but 90% of the time i go to my nearest sore games, guess what, there's an xbox 360 being brought back for repaire's, LOL!

PSP beat DS... I guess ppl only need one DS, no wonder their sales are declining, and Wii would be higher if they made more. No surprises on 360... the Japs wouldn't buy a US product, even if it was a world beater.
I guess people who already have DS's are now also looking towards the PSP. I too want to get it because of its numerous functions but I am broke as a joke.

haha, just as I thought. The game would have an even smaller impact on their console sales than blue dragon XDD That's pathetic.
wait until the PS3 DVR gets released in all regions, the remote play capabilities for watching live tv and controlling dvr playback/recording functions will be huge, and PSP will become more of a must have item.

Ha nds is a joke for kids, just like past nintendo products they will die in 4-5 years and PSP will continue to sell for more then 10 years, Sony always win.
