Nice to see the PSP seeling almost as many units as the Wii, but I swear people must be using the DS as bricks for houses or something, I mean there's only 128 million people over there, they cant need THAT many every week after this long.

Yeah, very good to see the PSP selling so well. I can't wait to see what happens in the PS3 VS 360 battle after the HD-DVD dies. It's gonna be SO interesting to see if the HD wars will affect the battle.

for the moment wii is on top, but the real killer ps3 exclusive games havn't been realsed yet and this will certainly change everything this year. 2008 is ps3's year, you'll see!!!!

I think its safe to say Sony has lost Japan in this war. I really can't see them making a comeback when they are constantly being outsold by almost 100,000 units. Then again I look at it like this, the Wii isn't next-gen at all so the only true war is between the PS3 and the 360 and the PS3 is dominating so in reality the PS3 is winning...woohoo...I just hope Nintendo never comes out with a system that has PS3 graphics and motion sensitivity because then Sony is done.

The Wii may still be on top as far as the non-handhelds go, but it's horses for courses. Many will buy one and it'll be gathering dust within a few weeks, many will buy one and love it, and the remaining will buy it, like it, but want more, and they are the ones that will be looking in the PS3s direction in the longer term, introducing new gamers that maybe wouldn't have considered the Sony unit.

Who cares if it's getting oustsold by the Wii? I have a wii myself, and I don't consider it next gen. So it can sell 150 million units in one week, I don't care. The race is between Sony and M$, and M$ is about all out of gas.

Its not just about the consoles its also about the games and I know there is only so many wii games people can play

i still dont understand why people are buying a wii i played mario galaxy and its not fun i even played zelda and it was not good so i dont kno what all the fuss is about

This is some excellent news... It gets annoying seeing XBOX out selling the PS3... I have no curse at the WII... since it believe its an excellent console and doesn't target hardcore gamers... more of a family / friends thing in my opinion... However.. that XBOX... GRRR!!! And as Stickemup said.... Blue Ray will crush HD... especially with the new contact with Warner Bros today that they shall only release movies from their studio in Blue Ray... Thumbs up for Blue Ray!!
