I don't get why these rumours keep popping up. These companies clearly state that their games will be exclusive. Are people just at a loss of what to talk about on these forums?

Even IF the game ever made the 360, isn't that what Xbox fans were rubbing in our faces?, that we don't get new games, but ported OLD games? I guess if it worked in their favor they wouldn't see it that way....(otherwise it wouldn't keep coming up in the forums)

I don't even understand how these rumors still exist.  Even throwing gaming politics aside, it's a simple math equation.  Kojima has stated that MGS4 will be using a full dual layered BD, if not 2.  That's 50GB+...are these xbox fans such idiots that they really think they're gonna ship a 360 version on 7 DVDs?  It's just not gonna happen guys...get over it and buy a PS3 if you want it that bad.

The great part imo is that you never see us PS3 fans saying "ZOMGZ I just read that HALO is coming to PS3!!!1!"  Why?  Because 360 has terrible exclusives...Good to know PS3s are so coveted that these rumors keep popping up, even though it is pretty annoying.

Since i own both consoles, a 360 and a PS3, im glad to hear about games that aren't released on both.

Xbox fans want PS3 games on their system. PS3 fans want Xbox live for free.

Just got off the phone with XBOX developers and there voice mail says, "Sorry we're unable to take your call right now but we're at the local Gamestop purchasing PS3's because our system sucks".

Sony owns the rights to the movie. They will be producing the MGS movies for kojima productions. There is no way right now that the xbox will get MGS. It would be like them giving up Gears of War. Not going to happen, although who needs Gears when you have UT3 with user created mods. Sony Forever.

I mean, to put it in perspective, they're jealous. I mean, the most anticipated game of 2008 is only coming to the PS3, so their denial is only fueling this fire. It's gonna keep happening. The best thing we can do is ignore them, then shove it in their faces late 2008 when it's not out for the 360

The rumours are there becuase of wishful thinking and to get a response from Sony fanboys...from M$ fangi ls. There are a bunch of them that want the game...then there are alot of them that are playing the roll of the fox calling the grapes sour, because they can't get it. Funny how someone should mention PS3 fans want Xbox Live...... I too envy the fact that xbox live arcade has games that I want that PSN doesn't offer, but I thought it was just me. Why can't we get Ikaruga on PSN? lol. You wouldn't hear rumours of Halo coming to the PS3, because even though its xbox's flagship game...that game is garbage. But there were rumors and wishfull thinking about Gears of War and Ninja Gaiden 2....why? because regardless of being on the 360...those are nice games. Its human nature to want that you can't have...but sorry M$ fangirls, as far as MGS4 goes...........NOTHING FOR YOU!

it would be great if it does stay an exclusive forever, but as a ps3 owner its kinda sad at least for me how we ps3 owners/supporters are hanging on to these exclusives for dear life, its like the only reason to own the ps3. i mean yes it has great multimedia capabilities but when it comes down to it, the thing was made to play games, i mean BD is great (i watch BD movies all the time on my bravia) but its a game console, and right now the games aren't up to par with the X360....and fanboys of the ps3 don't belittle the X360, yes it might be giving us a spanking, but as a gamer i can appreciate it for being a great system, with a good library of games (looking at you bioshock) and even better online service

Today is a day to remeber, Xbox shoot down for not having one game in it libary. Oh how mad those 360 fanboys must be to know that they won't be able to play MGS4, once they finish Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3, CD4, Blue Dragon, Fear, GOW 1 & 2, etc. Oh how I pity thoese 360 fanboy for not having the chance to play great PS3 hits like  beating Heavenly Sword in 3 hours. To think how they must feel not having loads of lag on thier xbox live service unlike us. I am proud to be the owner of a system that with a controler that disconnect ever time my cell phone ring, I look foward to thoes Bi-Weekly updates that crashes my system, I love the fact that Sony sell the PS3 as a High-Def console but do not give you any High -Def cables in the box or headset that let you talk to your friends on line. Konami is pretty focused on just releasing the game I dont think they could careless about MGS on the 360 plus after it bombed on the original Xbox I think they will stay Sony. Anyone else find it wierd a cover art hasn't been shown though?

i don't think Konami will make this game for xbox 360 as they been working always more with sony but in 2 years or 1 that could happen you never know anyhow im really looking to play this game and Final Fantasy 13 that i hope it stays on the ps3 cause i only like those rpg games theres none out there like final fantasy :)

@Razrblade You know what? I never realized that, one thing you never hear Sony fans saying is that the 360 games are gonna come to the PS3. Why? Because we don't want Halo on our system. Don't need it. Gears of War, may be a great game. But I would rather have Uncharted. Bioshock? Umm, yeah I have a PC. I can play it. Don't need the 360 for that. Mass Effect? Looks interesting, but I would rather play Final Fantasy. I love the PS3 because of the variety! 360 owners only know one genre and that's SHOOTER, first or third person. Doesn't matter to them. We have Eye of Judgment, great card game. Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Ratchet, Warhawk, Folklore, Metal Gear, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Unreal, Haze, and Resistance. VARIETY BABY!

*sigh* another Xbot. First of all CD4 is PS3 also. Gears of War? I can play that on the PC and I do. PSN doesnt have loads of lag you F@@g. And I have a bluetooth cellphone and it has NEVER disconected my controler. In fact I recieve phone calls on my blue tooth while Im gaming. Stoping makign stuff up thats not true. Its only been a couple updates that have done that and not every user is affected. Finally you have to pay extra for those headsets that come with your crashbox3fixme. It's amazing this rumor is still around, but I guess it could be a good thing. Free publicity basically. Video games are entertainment and in this industry theres no such thing as bad publicity. These rumors are helping MGS4 gain mainstream attention and hype. Right now the hype for MGS4 exceeds the hype of the previous 3 titles combined imo. This will only help MGS4's sales numbers. Even if a 360 version is still rumored at launch *Rolls Eyes* it wouldn't matter because your average gamer (The Majority) will buy it for the first system it is released on. Regardless this game has alot of people's attention which is great news for Konami.

Not to mention Home, Tekken 6, Motorstorm, White Knight Story, FF13 and GT5........ I like Makai's library that consist of only Bioshock lol...funny guy. Gear of War, BioShock and Ninja Gaiden 2....the buck stops there for good games on the 360. Anything else decent would be on xbox live arcade (which are on other consolse...but they've got it and thats cool to me). But I can understand why xbox fangirls are the way they are......everyone wants to throw rocks and the thrown.

The games simultaneous release is enough to reach 1million copies on day one overall also it may even sell more than just 1million on day one in each country alone.

 

So it makes sense that the 360 doesnt need this Ps3 exclusive.

Do not sit and be mad, I also have a paper weight (PS3) that is collecting dust and I also have a dream. A dream that one day in 2007 I will get to play MGS4, FFXIII, GT5, and KZ2. but it now 2008, my dreams are gone and all I got was more system updates then PS3 games. I sit here and be happy that a game in not coming to a 360 just to show how much the PS3 need games, the Wiiboy have more to choices and a better controller. I do love PS3 and the fact that i have to leave my system on in order to charge the controller unlike other consoles. If i can say anything to great about my PS3 is that it keeping hope alive with the dreams that Sony gives us. I do not care that the first MGS was on a Microsoft System the MSX in Japan, we are Sony fanboy and love taking the garbage they Sony give us, we eat the their S@#t for breakfast each and every day. Who else can brag about having a PSP Interface on their PS3.

damnit, just when i've been talking smack about how mgs was gonna be on my 360, now it isn't. i'm embarrased as a 360 fan. not only when i first got my 360, it crashed due to the 360 has three "powerful processing cores"t which make my console overheat more than other consoles. then i had to send it in, and they said i'll be getting it back in 3 weeks. afer the 3 weeks i called Microsoft, and they said it had to be backed order. but then later i got it back! and i thought it was in good shape... until i got the red rings of death. not just me but my other 33% of xbox fans too. so i guess i couldn't chill with my friends on xbox live which i have to pay... and now we don't have MGS, oh well i'm going to go get a PS3!

if you think about it real good... a game as deep as MG would look like crap on DVD format... so why put on xbox... that would just be a wate of time, money, and DVD's...

how many times does a rumour have to be denied before people realise that it's NOT true? well here's another rumour i heard recently, MGS4 is going to be released on XBOX 360 in disguise of Grand Theft Auto IV Part 2: The Rise Of Carl Johnson, which is supposidly a second version of GTAIV exclusive to XBOX 360(the real version of the game is being released on the sega dreamcast as a further decoy) the origional idea was to call the game MGS3.5 but they realised it would be too obvious and so used the GTA disguise, which was origionaly going to be called Grand Theft Auto hidden Metal Gear. Yeah! bet you weren't expecting that huh?

if they made this game for Xbox the console would really start to blow up. I don't think the xbox could handle a game like metal gear or FFXIII or FXIV or FFXX lol.

@Makai that is funny how you try to bring up the downsides of a ps3, which many can’t be denied.  Your right about a dream that has lasted a whole year, but these dreams are soon going to be a harsh reality.  And that reality is that the ps3 is going to take a crap on the 360 in 08.  2 50gb blu rays for one game? That’s shows that sony is striving to accomplish a goal and that goal is to slap bill gates and ms 360 in the face with a rubber dild0.  By the may Im still on my first ps3 what # 360 are you on.  I play online for free do you. I can charge my controller with the system off it’s called plug it into my computer or any other active usb port.  All those 360 games you named will be a fond memory that I will chuckled at while I smoke a corn cob pipe and play mgs4 gt5 ff13 etc.  You talk about monthly updates as bad. Hey, when you get your PS3 you can play assassin creed and see how long you system will last, and make sure you clean the inside of your system or Sony will charge you for dust removal. I have so much money that I have no problem paying for a defect system to be shipped back to the company unlike Microsoft who the shipping back and forth, 360 fan boys are so spoiled to have a company that honor a warranty and take responsibility for their system and even extend it buy 2 years. I’m used to the 90 days and then you own, that how Men of Sony do things. To think of it, It feel like just yesterday that my 5th PS2 had broken and as much I call Sony, the just refuse to help and told me to man up and get a new system.

Makai so Many 360 owners have been told to man up and get a new system it rediculous.  how can you even act like your warranty is upheld.  You send in your broken system to recieve a refurbished one that breaks even faster.  Wow an extra two years.  less than 1% of ps3 break down a dawnting # compared to 360.lol

i dont know why people even argue about this crap.... if you look at the facts when it comes down to it the ps3 is the better system its way faster and has loads more pottential the games out now dont even scratch what will be coming out in a year or 2 but the xbox is pretty much maxed out with the games it has now...  so no matter how you put it the ps3 is gunna win the war in the end.. and considering xbox had a year head start... shouldnt their games be almost twice as good as the current  ps3?? but their not and they never will be the xbox cant handle it.
