I honestly and truly don't think this could even be possible on 360 (at least without sacrificing alot of other things). I loved Indigo Prophecy, so I am definitely all in for the Heavy Rain.

I like the warm-feely environment how when it rains and it haves that dim look and everything is warm while the rain is also warm very very amazing.

Quantic Dream have outdone themselves once again apparantely. I have high expectations from them after playing Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy. Hopefully the story and gameplay live up to the graphics...

Quantic Dream makes games that use a variety of gameplay styles. Often they use the Quickk time event style of gameplay but also have more traditional styles. But they use these in the attempt to tell a story more than create a crazy open environment. So the game looks this good because there's a very focused story at work that they try to keep you from deviating from. When you have the opportunity to influence the direction of the game  most likly you wont ba able to jump on a table and shoot a gun randomly as you would in other games, Think of this like Silent Hill but with better narative and less roaming around.

Is Heavy Rain supposed to be a PS3 exclusive?  According to IGN (ps3.ign.com/objects/811/811232.html) it is also coming out on PC and xbox360.  Does anyone know for sure?

These are a joke and they look terrible. Kidding, just kidding. Serious screens there. Although, I prefer the original model in the first trailer. The only thing that weirded me out about that one was that you couldn't see her tongue forming the words. Creepy.

This makes me think the hole uncanny valley theory is bull.

These screenshots are perfect, they don't look human and they don't look "creepy".

They look just awesome and, yet, you can see it is not a movie.

What concerns me is that most of the images may be pre-rendered video. If you look at the last image, that looks like it's in-game, and the quality - while still very good - doesn't appear to match the others.

Was Indigo Prophecy's gameplay all just timed button sequences?

HOLY S**T, From the home page I thought it was a picture of a real person.  This is sick.  Now if the story & gamplay is as good as this screenshots than this may be a sleeper hit.

hahahaha.....don't make me laugh. Seriously is this ingame??? I am looking forward to this game with lots of attention. As for it being exclusive, I will believe that only the day the game will be released. Back to the graphics,  this is killing, can the ps3 actually do that in-game??Please Quantic Dream's say something....if this is true then there won't be any graphic capability comparison btween the ps3 and any crappy machine for years to come. can't wait to c what these guys have in store for us.

The screen shots of her on the motorcycle, and the one with the fat guy in it are probably in game. However unless they spent all the time in the world on making her look detailed and left everyone else to look like every other game makes them look there's no way shes in game in those screens. However if that is the case then I can see it looking very bad (similar to how I felt about Gears Of War, they spent all the time making the main char's look awsome everyone else looked like they belonged on the PS2). Anyways lets see some gameplay vid's and a story, If its fun ppl will play it no matter what it looks like :)

Yes, speachless indeed! Pic # 5 is beyond crazy, I just have to stop and take it all in. I look how you can just feel it. This is what they have to be talking about when they say using all of 100% of its power on the ps3. not 30% but 100%. If its in game then Im sold. ( let me take another look). I just want to ride on the motorcycle all day around town.

no offence hvlysword08 but you is crazy - that clip is what made me interested in the project first place. these new graphics are awesome but could have seatled for the one if demonstration video. try looking at the video again, man its hard to deny its just awesome.
