Today Kojima Productions' Ryan Payton revealed that Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Online would be playable at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.
News comes following Kojima Productions latest podcast, where Payton stated that the MGS4 demo would start off close to the beginning of the game, and would feature a special area to explain the controls. Payton also revealed that there would be a new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer at the show, which might reveal "too much".

Tokyo Game Show 2007 will be held from September 20 – 23, with the first two days exclusively for press only.
Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released in early 2008; a release date for Metal Gear Online is still to be decided.

It's times like this that I regret moving to America instead of Venice, Italy or Tokyo, Japan. And it's times like these that make me really regret not choosing Tokyo, Japan.
Hmm... And by Metal Gear Online, I supposed they mean the original MGO?
I'd really prefer to see the online modes of MGS4, but hey, I'm not complaining... Just as long as they're gonna be there once it's released.
By Metal Gear Online, I'm supposing the Metal Gear Online that's in Closed Beta... based on the MGS4 engine.

you only want to go to tokyo for a game?! i am sorry but there is soo much else way better to do there than go check out a game...i bet you a thousand bucks if you went than the last thing you would be thinking of is games because it is amazing.
