Electronic Arts has released their second patch for Madden 08, fixing a number of technical issues that have been plaguing the title for some time now . Soon to come to the PlayStation 3, the patch covers:
Fumble Fix - Reduced fumble chances in certain situations.
DB Reactions- Defenders in man coverage won’t be able to react to passes that they cannot see.
Favre “Moonwalk”- Adresses the problem of QBs “dancing” towards the sideline during gameplay.
Hook Zone Flip Bug- You can now flip plays with hook zones without the players leaving their zones.
Franchise - Fixed NCAA import issue where players would turn 26
Franchise - Fixed bug where HOF Unlocked players cannot be released in Franchise.
Franchise - Fixed bug where the FA pool would run out of certain positions
Online Game Reporting- Fixed a number of issues where games weren’t being reported correctly or people weren’t getting the right number of ranking points for a win.
EA SPORTS World- Accomplishment ‘20 consecutive completions’ not awarded when completions ends up under 100%
Madden 08 for the PlayStation 3 has been dogged by controversy following reports that title ran at 30FPS instead of 60FPS, though the title has enjoyed success at retail, and contributed to a rise in sales for Sony’s machine.

psn id: gingo... i am still amazed at how developers can just put a patch out to fix a game after its released but that also leads to lazy developing and no QA so there is always a downside
as mister burns would say "Excellent" another beautifully ported EA title that needs patchin.
Wow, I'm glad I didn't buy this yet. I'll wait till next year and get it for $20 or less. I picked up a copy of Madden '07 new on black Friday from best buy for $9.99.
Eh. We'll just stick with the Madden 07 I bought for my wife for Christmas.
