Midway needs to try some of their less used series!!!  I want Suffering 3 and i'll even take a next- gen Carnevil but not an on-rails shooter.  Make it a FPS with an amazing story and wicked graphics.

I agree with dave-the-rave  there`s no law saying fighting games have to change from 2d to 3d just because its next gen consoles.2d works best for these kinda games and also they should change sonic and the mario games bk to 2d, instead just make the games longer and trust me sonic would be a hit again.i just cant belive that no games developer have not relised this yet.man talk about brains it was so obvious years ago 3d dont work

dont really care about new mk games... as i sad earlier they kill series... i cant look on what they do with Sub-Zero and Scorpion

all 2d MK are good but all 3d series are all shiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

are u freaking serioues i LOVED the MK games i used to play them when i was little but comparing them to the new ones is a big difference in old mk games they didn't siw u the combos u had to do ''diaparates'' to make them and the fatalities too......the new ones are not such a big deal but the combos are awesome switching the style to continue the combo that's a really great accomplishmen

I can never figure out why do some people think 3d fighting games are so bad. Whats wrong with them? Me I certainly thought Mortalk Kombat Armageddon was one of the best fighters I've ever played.

seems like no one here knows the deal so here it is. tobias, one of the MK devs, was stunned by the atmosphere and a few other aspects of gears of war. the game was an inspiration to the dev team to revisit the MK outer realm. more then likely since i believe epic is involved with midway maybe a partnership of sorts perhaps part of them i dont remember the exact details, but dont be surprised if the UE3 is used. thats all i know for now.

They should turn mortal kombat into an action game like DMC and leave the fighting genre to an online multiplayer option...  cuz thats all anyone will play of it anyways!!

they actually did the action games and all 3 flopped. sub-zero: mythologies, MK - special forces, MK - shaolin monks, although shaolin monks was the most successful of them, it still wasnt great.

well lets hope they make a good one cause i love the mortal kombat fighters and add sum good online mode

I don't trust Midway but I want to get back into the Mortal Kombat series soon.

for those questioning and hoping. yes it will have online. stats and ranking system are being worked on. they want it to be global, as well as carry concepts from the MK realm to real world. championship tournies for prizes and such. nothing is final yet but many things are being worked on and thrown around.
