Those of you wondering if the sequel to the offroad racer could look any better in-game, your questions have been answered. Due to bandwidth issues, Gamersyde has disabled the video embedding of their latest MotorStorm: Pacific Rift gameplay footage. Erm, cool!!
looks like the first one
it looks "ok." I wish they would've gone into first person mode. Maybe the new c0ckpit view that they BETTER have.. Winshield wipers FTW!
Other than that, the game definitely needs some polish. I'm not stunned, yet.
^^^ Pre alpha build on a 3 inch screen? is that what your basing that on?
Even in this early stage you can tell this is gonna look dam sweet!
@ jjlikesfootball - Well said mate
I know it's still pre-alpha, but it seems like my complaint about the first one is still present... the lack of weight on the vehicles. Sure, the game was fun, but it just got annoying to me that my 2 ton truck floated around the track like it was on ice. If they would increase the weight and maybe add a little more speed, I would be sold for sure. Hopefully the final build will take such constructive criticism into account.
Well they still got time to polish things up people
Nice! Cant wait for this one =)
looks like the first no difference??
Wow, whoever was playing that was terrible. I hope only the monster truck is that floaty. I hope they can still pull off the October release they had planned.
psn id: gingo... game looks fantastic, except the monster truck stays in the air for too long so if they get that fixed it will be a good sequel to an already good game
honestly i didnt like what i saw... it ill get better though..
i totally loved the first game, but this looks mediocre. it looks as if theyre making the playable environment much bigger & so sacrificing on the amount of vegetation. I`d rather play on a small track within a dense forerst rather than half an island with 20 trees`s or so.
Bungie did this with halo 2, made the payable maps too big so there was no intense detail. just sucks...
i really hope they get it right , i love motorstorm & will still buy this game (probably)
ahhh stuff it it isnt loading :(
looks good tho ;0
i cant beleive the dudes that are complaining about the rough build. ITS A WORK IN PROGRESS YOU DUFF'S
@butchyz
I found that the trucks did the opposite. tHey were so heavy,, they understeered everywhere.
just read on gamespot this is ONLY A 40% FINISHED BUILD so imagine what it will look like after another 60%.

It does'nt look like Motorstorm 2. It looks like an add-on for Motorstorm
Not impressed at all....Needs a LOT of graphical face lifts,if it is supposed to live up to today's standards.
