THQ has unveiled a new story-focused trailer for its upcoming sandbox title, Saints Row 2.

Set a few years after the original title, Saints Row 2 features "a much darker and more sinister story that leads your character down a path of betrayal, revenge and redemption against the city that has left him for dead."
The game will contain a number of improvements over its predecessor, such as new weather effects, enhanced Pedestrian AI, along with a plethora of new vehicles, including boats, monster trucks and helicopters.
Saints Row 2 is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 14.

Actually I wasnt all to impressed with GTA4, at first I liked it but the more i played, I realized that they actually took away from the game, instead of fun side missions you hang with your friend, if i wanted to do that crap i woud go meet up with my real friends. GTA4 is good but it didnt cut it, I hope Saints Row 2 will be better.
Looks better than GTA4. I was extremely let down with GTA4 why would they take elements of the gameplay out and put stupid crap like there internet? why did we get junkmail its a video game!?
Actually, this game does not look that bad. Not as good as GTA4, but not too bad. I may become interested in this game afterall.

The reason I am looking forward to this is cus I liked the last one and GTA4 was a let down, I agree with TillFlamesFall, they took everything fun out of GTA (planes, parachutes) and replaced it with internet and stupid dates

yeah, GTA4 just didnt cut it at all, its just the same thing over and over again, but they took out planes and such which sucked, ill be picking this one up for sure, when i play i game like this i want to have fun, GTA4 wasnt that fun, it didnt deserve a single 10 it got.
