Rumours of a second SingStar title for the PlayStation 3 have surfaced on the Internet recently, following a listing posted on an Australian retail site over the weekend.
According to the listing, the title - supposedly named ‘SingStar Vol.2’ - is scheduled for release in the territory some time in June 2008. However, when contacted on the matter, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia merely hinted that it is possible Sony’s London Studio is looking to further expand the series by way of disc-based updates.
The news comes just days after Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced they would be releasing SingStar Summer Party for the PS2 next month.

Whats the point !? The series has the store now !! No need for more discbased releases..this is gonna piss some people off !!
We are approacing the age where new games will become old news. DLC is indeed the future. E.G GT5 will be around for AGES, u could be able to download new cars tracks etc.
why have a vol. 2? i thought the reason for the singstore was to eliminate the making of more of these games and just buy the songs on the store instead of buying a whole other game to get 30 more new songs.
thats stupid. if they do that then wats the sense of making a store at all. jus put like add-ons on the playstation store like guitar hero and rockband.
