With only Ryu, Ken and Crimson Viper confirmed as characters in Street Fighter IV, there are plenty of empty slots available for old favorites to return.
According to the official developer blog, there will be a new character added to the roster this Friday in Japan. No other hints were given, but there are several fan favorites that have yet to make their debut.
Some of the more notable Street Fighter characters that have yet to be confirmed include: Vega, Blanka, Guy, M. Bison, Chun Li, Sagat, Fei Long, and E Honda. Of course, there is also the possibility of an entirely new character being shown for the first time as well.
It looks like we'll just have to wait until Friday to check it out, but be sure to check back for all the latest!

Does anyone else think that this game looks like crap? It looks like a half-a-- combination of next gen 3d graphics (like DoA, tekken, Soul Caliber, etc.) mixed with 2d graphics like the dragon ball games. I mean c'mon pick one or the other because I think what is going on right now looks like poo.

Colonel William F. Guile? lol, please don't call him that again. He's just Guile. No first name, no last name. Anything connected to that god awful Street FIghter movie needs to be erased completely. Actually, Ihope Capcom gives him a name like Robert Guile, just to further distance the game from that forgettable excuse for a movie.
