SCEE and Rhino Studios have released a new trailer for their upcoming safari-inspired title, Afrika.
The trailer shows new footage of the animals players will see in the game as well as some of the gameplay elements which entail players sneaking around, taking pictures and cruising through the landscape.
Afrika is being developed by Sony's Japan Studio along with Rhino Studios and is set to release sometime this August. You can check out the new trailer below, or find it as one of the new trailers added in the latest PlayStation Store update.

thats wazzup
I'll be ordering this from Play Asia
i'll probably wait untill its maybe $20 - $30, instead of get it at release
I'll be curious to see if the carnivores will attack and if there are upgrades you can get.
The stealth like gameplay gives me hope. If they have animals attacking I'd be sold. I'm just curious why they don't give this game to Europe, especially when it was made there. Are they not confident in their product, or is it to complicated to make in different languages?
Oh, and actually letting you play as different animals would totally make this one of the top games I'm looking forward to. I doubt that will happen though.
Don't have any interest in this anymore..not coming to the EU and I refuse to import
I like the concept of the game and the graphics and i'd buy it/import it but first i gotta see what kind of review it gets, to see whether its worth the import
wow, the trailer totally just blew my hype for the game.
Anyone else think the graphics are a little lacking- especially in the foliage department? I mean.....seriously. Look at the ground.
THEY SHOULD LET YOU HUNT THE ANIMALS!!!!!!
Then you can sell the Ivory etc to purchase upgrades to your equipment!
I'm evil...
are genres even ever successful?
im begining to like this game, it does looks interesting, specielly if animals attack.
Dude I am so picking this game up.
Getting this for sure, Lived in Afrika and I miss it like hel!
To add to the realism the developers should include that wet clothing tech from Uncharted to both people and animals. Also good water physics concidering that when an Elephant walks into the water there should be a conciderable wake of water genorated. And as an added bonus to compleating the game their should be the option to be an actual hunter with blade action like in Turok.
this looks better and better.
btw does anyone notice how bad the spelling is for these authors?
man they need a dictionary! hah
dont care what its like, im so picking that one up XD
This one looks freaky cool... Just like I expected! Got the same feel as Ocean Blue for the Wii, just a whole lot better!!!
ok i keep seeing the name whats the object of the game and will this game be made to play online
Umm not sure. Why hunt/track animals when you can blow each other up in COD4 and Battlefield?
omg, how AWESOME would this title be with the Euphoria physics engine? haha think about it :)
I certainly hope there smore gameplay elements than a freeroaming Pokemon Snap, like animals attack you if your dumb enough
I like David Attenborough and it would be brilliant if Afrika was an interactive wildlife doc game where you play as Attenborough.
looks like fun, having the ability to try and get the best photo of some of those exotic and hard to find creatures. I also wonder if you can be attacked by some of animals.
If you can get killed by animals for getting to close IM IN!
