One week has passed since Ninja Gaiden Sigma slashed its way into the Japanese market, and now the official sales numbers are in.
Media Create Co. cites first week sales between June 11th and June 17th at an impressive 46,307; ranking third in the top 50 software sales.
In addition, this week saw an 8% increase in Japanese PS3 sales, most likely due to NGS.
Surprisingly, Activision's Call of Duty 3 held decent sales to rank at No. 14 in the same period, an unprecedented feat for a first person shooter in Japan.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma will be released in the U.S. on July 3rd.
