Ninja Gaiden content now on Japanese PS store

Posted on September 3rd, 2007 at 04:06 EDT

Ninja Gaiden Sigma: Survival Mode content has just hit the Japanese and Hong Kong PlayStation Network. What's interesting to note, however, is the content is not entirely free.

As a part of a series of multiple missions, the Survival Mode DLC costs 315 yen per mission (approximately USD 3). Currently, there is no official word on the price for the content in North America, or when it will be made available.

Survival Mode features themed missions, which primarily focus on Ryu's survival against a flood of enemies trying to bash him in the ground.

A total of three missions will be released for consumers to download separately. The first includes a limit of five weapons; the second is a speed mission (which requires incredible speed and skills with NGS), and finally, the third allows gamers to assume control of Rachel  in the 'Rachel Master' quest.

Stay tuned for more information here at PSU as it breaks.

Awesome! "Team Ninja" is keeping with this new console by doing what they did with the old Ninja Gaiden games! :D I've thought that Ninja Gaiden was last on the Xbox... and that went downhill... BUT! I then think that Microsoft didn't support the original Xbox for very long, while SONY has supported all their systems up to this point. So, any doubt goes out the window ^^ Go SONY! :D

I just got this game yesterday and it ROCKS!!! (It was my first PS3 game, though i had the console for some months... i like demos :D) Can't wait for survival and other stuff! In games, like this, where the combat system just is dang funny you just need a survival mode!

I for one will not be buying anything extra....this game is on a Blu-ray disc for crying out loud, all of these extra stuff should have come on the disc already and just have the extra stuff released after beating the game on certian difficulties. I already bought the damn game ( Collectors Edition :P "yes..its a very nice")...jeez
