Resident Evil 5 to remain gory, promises CapcomPrey 2 will not be coming to PlayStation 3, Radar Group has confirmed.
There had been reports that the sequel to 2006's hit shooter would be appearing on Sony's side of the console pond, but it has been confirmed that the game will only be released on Xbox 360 and PC.
The first person shooter will see gamers take control of Tommy, the Cherokee warrior who saved Earth from an alien invasion in the first game of the series.
The original development team, Human Head, is working on the game. Human Head promises to build on the "mind-bending portal and gravity-defying gameplay of the original with several innovative new twists," according to the Radar Group's official website.
The Radar Group also announced details of two other titles, Earth No More and Incarnate, both of which will be released on PS3. Earth No More is a first person shooter in which you respond to a gas attack in Washington, only to find it a cover up for something far more sinister. Incarnate, a third person adventure, gives you the task of hunting down and capturing "incarnates" which have converged on present-day Chicago.

Eh, never even played or heard of "prey" and that name doesnt really scream "play me" ( to me) anyways. :/
we got way too much amazing FPS in the works anyways so no loss.
Prey was alright, though calling it a "hit shooter" is a bit much.
Well, the first Prey game was only on the Xbox 360 and PC, and the developers are already used to developing for the 360 for Prey, so I'm not surprised Prey 2 isn't coming to the PS3. I would rather have Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 anyday. The Xbox 360 is full of nothing but shooters, they can have those 3rd party shooters for all I care.

im not bothered to be honest. First game was horribly short, completed it in a day >_< Also, i was hyped way too much for having this really inovative portal feature...thats the last time i follow that one. It was a joke, the portals were hardly there and when they were there it was just leading to another area or whatever. the only interesting portal was when you were shrunk to fight on the moon model and thats about as interesting as you would get. It did have a TON of potential but just failed to fulfill any of it.
The first sucked, and our upcoming variety is better.

I'm glad. We don't need it and it wouldnt sell that well on the PS3 anyway. we're already over loaded with the best FPS games for the next year and a half.

yeah the first prey i bet it like easy even though i put on hard difficulty.but i wouldnt say turok ripoff though all i know is prey is better than turok i dont know but its just my opnion though.
What's is up with these dev's I really don't care for Prey despite the slew of FPS out there but really where do you see Sony PS3 in the next few years.

That is a shame for I actually liked the first Prey very well. Definitely would have picked it up on the PS3 over the 360.
we never heard becaeuse it's released on xbox360 but is't can't get it sucsesfull later on pc but agian it's disappointed who needs this :D

Got a PC still dont have to buy a 360. Example Gears of War and Mass Effect.

I hate hearing these stories about PS3 not being developed on. 80% of the games seem to be made for Xbox360 & PC these days. It sucks.
Having said that, Prey doesnt exactly excite me. I dont care if it never comes out on PS3 - way too many crap FPS games on PS3 now so the last thing we need is more. I'd rather get spore or some other SIM like that.
