Electronic Art has revealed that the upcoming Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 for PlayStation 2 and Wii will be released in North America on July 15.
The expansion disk will cost approximately USD 29.99, and includes songs from a variety of popular bands including Boston, Kiss, The Police, Queens of the Stoneage and Smashing Pumpkins.

I hope you forgot that All American Rejects and Paramore were in that list when you wrote popular bands in a way that sounds like you're saying "bands one might approve of". To be honest, I don't see why someone would bother getting Rock Band for PS2 because you can't get any downloadable content. I can't imagine a game that only has music from Metallica's $h1tty era
I respect the people who got this game, but I disrespect everyone who pays $2 a song for DLC. Discs like these would be fine in my book if it didn't add up to $1.50 a song. I'm pretty sure they can fit a couple more songs on there for $30.
