War torn streets in SOCOM: ConfrontationDigital Playground has officially moved into the Blu-ray penthouse encampment. In a recent report, DP(no pun intended), has chosen a side due to recent happenings in the high definition format war.
Pirates, their first film they released on Blu-ray is expected to be joined by 8 other movies by January 11th. These movies will include, "Island Fever" 3 and 4, "Babysitters," "Jack's Teen America 3," "Jesse Jane: Sexual Freak," "Hush," "Contract Star" and "Jesse Jane Pink."
The studio’s director, Joone, has stated that picture quality is not a reason for the switch; however, that the demand from PS3 users for porn was a big factor instead.
After finding out about some of the new interactive features coming to Blu-ray worldwide, we can only imagine what this will mean for PS3 owners and Blu-ray owners alike.

I can believe the picture thing not being a big factor. I mean, afaik, 1080p is 1080p currently. However you have to admit that with the storage capacity of BRD, you can shove alot of ta-ta's on one disk and most likely charge a pretty penny for it too.
