^^ Yeah I just beat that game finally and I haven't played a game like that since FFVII. It truly touched me!  A game like MG4 comes out every 10 years or so. AMAZING!

great beginning, great middle, great ending - simple as. some games like to flop the ending like its not important.

I feel that Sony may have got a bit too excited about those numbers, though they are good to hear. I have to admit though, I have lost much confidence in any list of exclusives as far as their release dates are concerned. The key will be for Sony to deliver them on time. If Sony can deliver Resistance Ghost Recon and Little Big Planet on time, then they should be alright the year through.

I seem to remember Microsoft saying in their Press Con at E3, something along the lines of "...and when you see last month's NPD sales, you'll see that the Xbox brand will beat the PS3 in sales." I'll have to go watch it again to make sure. Does anyone else happen to remember?

Nah I don't think MS said that, they did say they would outsell the PS3 this generation though. The way they're going to do that is by releasing a console in 2 years, and then quitting the 360, saying "okay, we won"

Yo, MephistoSozo, i hear ya. Did they really think that Ninja Gaidern 2 (though a great game) as in the same league as Metal Gear? But i'm still surprise that the 360 is able to sell that much every month. I think the only big month this year for the 360 is when the releases or Gears of War 2. But when is Resistance 2 and Socom out again?....

tis is great! i felt though that MGS4 didn't get as much fame as GTA4 which i thought was overated. if only there were more ads. i really hope sony pushes R2 Killzone 2 SOCOM and LBP to the mass market.

At ign Littlebigplanet socom motorstorm and a few multiplatform games are to be released(As well as Fable 2 for 360) in october

Mark my words: White Knight story *will* be better than FFXIII.  My expectations of FFXIII went down since we're going to get a gimped version now.  Will buy it anyway though, but I expect SE to redeem themselves with FFXIII Versus. Hope they also not let us down with the Last Remnant.  Those games and the upcoming exclusives should close the gap even more with the 360.  BTW any bets the PS2 will hit 130 million?  The flat, little black shoebox that could just keeps on chugging!!!!

i really wish that they had over advertised mgs4, they would have had much more sales then because just yesterday i invited a friend of mine over to play mgs4 and he had no idea that it was even out yet... next time sony get some ads going and get some hype going outside of teh interwebz

Yea lets see how long some of these games stay exclusives for ps3. But a great push for the month of june. But, stop feeling yourself SONY!!!!! You have a lot of work to do because of your mess up. Don't get to happy, you just let a good game get away by sharing it.

LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM: Confrontation, Resistance 2, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, and NBA '09: The Inside. all these games are publish by Sony,  see M$ got it twisted they think buying games will make them win next gen in my opinion that's wrong. its about ideas and originality not put out a half A** hardware console so the consumer have to repeatedly buy the system 5+ times. so that it look like its 400k+ new ppl went out and buy it every month when actually its not.  then its the buying your competition exclusives and paying companies off so that the game can be a timed out exclusive. if M$ have so much confidence in there product then why not go head to head and come out with your own products

Sony has shot itsef in the foot.  It downgraded the original PS3 with bc, and card reader to the new 80GB SKU with neither, it launched a controller that fell so short of expectations then when it did rumble it was no better than previos dual shocks (what happened to touchsense?)  It works with a DX9 based GPU...  Admittedly the Wii is behind in graphics, but the gaming immersion experience is much better (+ it has a card reader) for the first time since  PS1 I don't think I'll bother with PS this generation... blu ray will never replace DVD, as it'll soon be surpassed by other technologies.  By the time developers get to grips with PS3 it'll be surpassed by better consoles anyway.  I hope they plan the PS4 better!

I agree with you completely. Sony needs to stop waving their C***s around talking about how many consoles they've sold, and start delivering. To the people talking about how FF13 is going to suck now, or is going to be a "gimped" version because of the 360, it's just ridiculous. The games been in development for the 360 and PS3 since day one! Damn, Fanboys suck.
