Does anyone really care what EA are working on any more? A year in, and they still haven't produced a PS3 title of any real quality.

But I like the NHL games =) And I do like most of the EA games, even though they suck. But it's fun :D

Ooo my god if my game comes to ps3 SYPHON FILTER, i wont sleep for years.

Resistance 2 is already confirmed by insomniac although i dont recall them saying anything about a late next year release.

i call for more lego games to be made.

That's a shame that SF4 won't be in the style of the trailer.  I'm sure they'll aim for Cell Shading or something along those lines.

Encouraging to hear SF might not be 3D cell shading.

New Infinity Ward IP could be interesting. Hopefully it'll be something other than FPS.

All of these rumors sound believable, though I doubt will see Resistance till 2009, they only just finished Ratchet and Clank not that long ago.  Just think how good Resistance 2 is going to be, with the amount of knowledge and experience Insomniac would now have with the ps3's hardware.   I like that the ps3 is getting some old favourites like Far Cry, and what ever Infinity Ward are now working on we know it's going to be nothing short of spectacular.

I have faith that Insomniac can get resistence 2 within 2008 and if they do they will finish Sony's great 2008 with a bang.  Insomniac seem to know how to develop for the ps3 already and i think that resistence 2 is going to live up to its first 1.

Whoever thinks Insomniac can't get Resistance to out by 2008 is mad. They have released a game every year for the past six or seven years. Who else can do that? Resistance in Nov. '06, then Ratchet in Oct. '07. Yeah,t hey can make it by the end of '08. Ted Price=workaholic.

I think these release dates are more fitting...

Resistance 2, Syphon Filter for PS3,Prince of Persia title,Hitman, and the new SF4 those are those are the ones i'll be looking forward to.

I think making a Syphon Filter for ps3 would be dumb. We already have Metal Gear Solid 4. I love the series but it would probably be seen as a MGS rip-off and ignored.

I am pretty sure the SFIV is going to be similar in style and seeing as there are even more speculation on whether the ink brush style will be done with 3D or 2D is even a bigger question. 2D is the route I see Capcom taking as their EX series was nothing short of disappointing.

I have an older PSM3 magazine and they did a preview on Bioshock. They said it was coming out for PS3 but really they played the 360 build and guessed it would come to PS3.

All the above from PSM3 is speculation, how would they get all that infomation, surely if they can sites like PSU can?

Some of these speculations are what gamers WANT to hear so they necessarily don't have to be correct.

Yes I can see it says 'rumors' in the headline that is PSU speculatiing the posability that what PSM3 say could be false. However the article states that PSM3 have accurate inside news. This is what I'm getting at, PSM3 are saying that all these games are definate, I was just making a point that PSM3 talk sh!t

Resistance 2 should be out for next year's holiday season and IMO this is going to be the first "next-gen" AAA franchise. Good to hear Syphon Filter is  rumored to be in the works too. Hopefully we can Red Faction to the list of confirmed projects soon.

@ zarajoe. i disagree. Resistance 2 could easily come out next year. Insomniac started on it as soon as they finished Fall of man. Im sure Insomniac wouldt move their full team to Ratchet anc Clank, also if they made ratchet in less than a year im sure they good do it again. Anyways Resistance 2 is pretty well expected, i cant wait for it and it will be huge. Also Syphon Filter for PS3 would be amazing, the franchise is good enough to beat out the next splinter cell game. Especially if its 1st party sony will for sure deliver on this one. New Ip for Infinity ward? i have no clue. Also prince of persia nex gen could be good.

The only things important here is Resistance 2, Far Cry to the PS3, and Syphon Filter.

these new games sound like releases for next year to give 09 a strong start IMO, because we dont really have nothing that i can think of to help out sony in 09/ early 2010 besides GOW3. We already have a great line up of games for 08' . to be honest i would like to space out the release dates of some of these major AAA to give a break on my wallet and get better quality in our games for 08'. That would be nice.

I thought EA was working on Shawn White's Snowboarding or something like that,that game is in PSU's game list as well.
