I do anything to play this game on PS3. I loved this game so much and mastered it to where I knew what my friend had to do just by him talking to me over the phone. This game needs to be put on the Playstation Network so I can buy it.

It upsets me to see these kind of articles because of the fact that we all want these kind of excellent and amazing things to come to the PS3 or PSN but Sony just doesn't ever listen to us. They seem to not care about bringing out old hits on PSN which would make PSN sales skyrocket. Sad thing. Could you imagine playing the original MGS, FFVII, or the remake of Chrono Trigger?!!

love RE, hope they bring the classic series on the PS Store and finally make Resident Evil 5 a PS3-only game :)

I love RE2.It would be awesome to have it on the PS3.A remake would be the best thing.

i been said RE1,RE2,RE3 and MGS1 should be REMADE for the PS3. (first to say it). I def would pay $69.99 for each (rather than some no-need BS special edition w/ loads of behind the scenes crap like Halo or Assassin's Creed did) So again I would pick em up @ $70 a piece rather than current game (released as of today not future titles) @ $60 a piece

I think it could do great as a remake.  Look at the Gamecube remake of RE 1.  At the same time I'd hate for them to use resources on a remake when they could make another RE4 caliber game for our console.

Here we go again CRAPCOM.......we dont want sh!ty remakes, we want exclusive new games. Get this through your thick skulls. A multi-plat re-make will not get the PS3 fans jumping for joy.

I would love to see this game on PS3 and PS3 only! I loved the original. I remember playing it over and over again thinking to myself "wow! those graphics are great!" lol...Good times, good times.

Still one of the best RE out of the series right next to RE4. If they did a remake of this or even release it for PSN, it would probably be a hit for those who haven't played this classic. :)

Good game but Nemesis was better.

A remake of this game for the PS3 would be AMAZING. It has so much potential but.. i dont think Capcom would go for it. They've got RE5 in the works for *cough*2009*cough* (sorry i almost swallowed my tongue there) and i really cant see them doing a remake for a console they, quite frankly, arent really "INTO" these days.

This game would definitively be great on PSN.

I think they should make a bundle like the NFS and DMC series or just put the first 3 on a Blu-ray.

I'd rather have RE5 shipped sooner than get two games later. 2009 is too far to get pushed even further.

If you already had the older games (and the CDs are degraded by humidity or scratched or broken/lost), then it is legitimate for you to download them from the net, and play them on an emulator (PS2 to USB gamepad converter recommended). Otherwise, people still sell used copies on ebay and amazon.
