(continued from previous page) ...achievements, matchmaking, demos, and distribution of user-made content, just to name a few. We’re excited to see how things turn out, but it’s a little too early to really anticipate how far we’ll be able to go with it.
PSU: It’s been confirmed that the Unreal Engine 4 is in development. Care to comment on the progression of the engine, what features might be included, or when we might see the first taste of the technology?
Brown: Tim Sweeney is a mastermind, and he’s going to keep you guessing!
PSU: What is the planned release date for Europe?
Brown: We don’t have an exact date yet but we expect it to be early in the new year.
PSU.com would like to thank Jim Brown and Epic Games for the interview. If you are looking for a great fast action FPS this holiday season be sure to pick up Unreal Tournament 3.

Hmm, seems kind of old. The PS3 exporting doesn't work, so it's kind of a giveaway that this is dated, or the guy isn't up to speed. Also they commented on the forums about 'looking into' split-screen.
Good to know we are getting interviews with big developers though!
Yeah, what happens is you send an interview to a developer...but it takes them sometimes anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to get back to you. Thats why some of the info is old
might get this on the 25th psn id BIGROB904
CONFLICT__01 said everything I needed to say!!!!
What an idiodic interview. Why even talk to Epic...this is clearly a PR spot that was squeezed out for them. No split screen, no info on timed release, no info on unreal engine 4, no info on home...just more and more plugging the games features. What about cross platform functionality? Oh yeah... thanks guys.
I really want this game, but I'm getting Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion GOTY edition, and Uncharted for Christmas. Dam, there's so many games to get, such a small wallet to get it with....My summer job should provide for most of my games, but what about my car????What am I to do?????
@ tegesh : Jeesh, he said it's his first post ever, not that he's first.
@ bulletfighter : Welcome to show! How you liking your PS3?
@tegesh not that im defending or anything, but it seems UR the idiot tegnutz( what kind of a gay name is that anyway?) because bulletfighter stated it was his first post ever, meaning he has never posted before, not claiming he was the first poster on this article. sheesh.

@ Lithgow: I hate to say it, but the car has to come before the videogames. But don't worry, Elder Scrolls will definitely keep you busy for quite a long time.
PSN id: Fallen_Guardian... this game is awesome! i love playing it online!!!!!!!!!!
p.s.- ill see you online!
I picked it up on Thursday, it a really good game, and i cant wait for my friends to pick it up for some online co-op!
Hey Epic, i really appreaciate you support for the PS3, i hope you guys continue to make your great franchises on PS3. Maybe Gears of War 2 for PS3. Please, how hard could it be?
psn id: nwarelias.... Unreal or Haze?
haze
@ogtripple Haze got pushed back so I would pick out UT in the mean time. Oh yeah first post on PSU.
Wow, no comment from Gingo yet
Oh yeah, and this interview is up to PSU's usual non-standards. Terrible work, guys! Keep it up!
this games pretty fun and crazy
psn id J08hawks
Multiplayer on PC is fun, playing cross platform is where it should be at to see the top dogs of PSN going against PC would be a spectacle. That and I can listen to more whiners on who owns more lol.
This will beat the COD4 online mode wen its out.
"Care to comment on the progression of the engine, what features might be included, or when we might see the first taste of the technology?" It's a BEAST!
This game is terrible, i just rented it from blockbuster and it was so bad i returned it the next day.
Just got this game a couple of days ago, and it is a blast, real fast and frantic fun. Just download some of he new mods and maps from epic and they are amazing, especially as this is just the start of those. i have never played an unreal game before, but with the reviews and the positive views coming out of epic about the ps3 version decided to take the plunge and buy and am so glad i did (NB: was interested in orange box until gabe newells comments and the lack of hands on development by valve, if they cant be bothered neiher can i, i am not a cash cow for them). Also seen a few posts about releasing this game in europe, well i live in the UK and imported it from ebay, remember guys the games for ps3 are NOT region coded, so why wait get it now, i dont have any issues online, havent seen any lag etc, and run on 2mb broadband, Anyway gonna get back online and get my butt handed to me PSN ID: NAT2604
This is the first Unreal game that I have ever played and I love it. The game is fast, furious, & nonstop. Single player mode is strange but the focus is multiplayer so who cares.
and not a single word about the 30 fps lock where the game was presented the whole time as a 60 fps shooter. now it really sux. everyone who says 30fps is good enough for a graphical feast beast as ut3 does not know a thing he is saying.. it's a blo0dy shame that the ps3 which was running at 60 fps 4 months ago, in the end is capped at 30 fps because they needed to get it as beautifull as gears of war..
really irritated about this and returned my copy of ut3 ps3..
cod4 is the real winner here where 60 fps is the next gen insertion..
