What do they mean link ur PSN user ID with ur Playstation Network account? i thought that was all one thing

Well whenever they do release the Home Beta its gonna be awesome to see what they have been working on for two years now...With ur "apartment space" giving you the option of showing off items received while playing PS3 gaming sessions kindof reminds me of X-box 360 and the achievments, which is one thing I think the PS3 is lacking right now that I liked most about the 360 :( Being able to keep track of ur games and achievments to show what you've been accomplishing!

It's gonna suck if it has nothing to do with Home lol. I sure hope it means something though. I mean in all honesty we've been so thirsty that any little activity from Sony makes us think Home is coming out. Please let us be right for once.

That date would be the 19th. Now here's the deal. I know people who know alot about what's going on in PS Home right now, actually they know what's going on with alot of stuff with the PS3. But anyways, this mate told me about 3 weeks or a month ago that an open Home beta was coming out on the 19th. There was alot of talk about the open Home beta coming out the 19th-20th, I heard it from many different sources. And this site: Is it just someone who heard the same rumors I did and decided to get alot of people's hype going? Or is it really true....

My guess is if the Home beta IS coming out this month, it's going to be on the 19th. If it isn't, we're still getting it soon.

This is a rumor. I have been over the official playstation forums and they are saying there is still no one who has actually received a message stating such. But it still might be a possiblity. If I think about it Sony is talking about home this friday at OGC so the home beta might really be coming this month.

I, too have confirmed that this is something completely unrelated to the launch of home. My beta end date still shows 5/15/2008 so... sorry guys no home for you yet. I will tell you though, it is shaping up nicely.

I think the article ment to link your playstation account from http://www.us.playstation.com with your PSN account.

So in other words you have to be registered on the offcial us playstation forums. Hopefully it will be for all users and not just limited randomly selected users.

There is NO concrete release date I repeat, NO CONCRETE RELEASE DATE, for the full Home download OR the open beta, there are still many many things to be worked out.

the best way to sing up for home is to be in playstation underground, and get an invitation to G.A.P. (Game Advasory Panel) they send out random invitations, once you're in gap they might give u an invitation to the home beta and many other betas that's how i got into home

I went to Playstation Underground for that purpose, but realised you had to be an american/canadian. Hope they start with the same on the Official European forum aswell.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?  What could this possibly have to do with home?  And to top that off nobody here seems to know how to link your psn to your forum account, makes no sense.  You lost points for this one psu.

I'm going to ask again.  What...IS..."LINKING"?  Is it having the same root email address for your Offical undergroud account AND PSN ID or what?  I asked this at the official site and all the dorks there danced around my question because they didn't know (but wouldn't admit it).  Let's see what happens here...

I dont see Home being that good from the start anyway! I dont get why everyone is getting excited as like everything it will take a long time to get right and disappointment will inevitably set in.

The notifications is simply because they're revamping the forums and as such are linking your registered username with your PSN ID's. This isn't a verification of Home!

when u sing up for us.playstaion.com use the same email as your psn and in there look for a link that says link ur psn to your underground account, make sure when u sign up use the same email as to when you set up your psn.
