Additonal Info:
The latest and most easily the prettiest iteration of the Ratchet & Clank series, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, has gone gold.
Greg Phillips, Line Producer at SCEA announced the news on the official PlayStation Blog.
Unfortunately, there is some bad news too. Both the demo and the final game have been delayed. Don't worry though, they're both only a week, though one that will seem agonizingly long to hardcore Ratchet & Clank fans (you know who you are). You'll be able to enjoy the demo via PlayStation Network (if you haven't already got it on Blu-ray from Gamestop) on October 11th, and the final game on October 30th.
We'll leave you with this quote by Phillips: "Insomniac has been hard at work squeezing every last detail, dance move and tool of destruction that we could fit onto a Blu-Ray disc (while leaving some room to fit Captain Qwark’s massive ego). This makes it the largest Ratchet & Clank experience ever."
Look out for our review soon.

Yeah one week isn't bad...
Is it just me or is this game going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!
im glad the delay is only a week, anything longer then that would have made me kill myself
i think i might get this game, looks fun. shouldent be a problem that i havent played any of the previous games?
psn id: gingo... i'm not so annoyed about the game delay but te demo delay kinda blows because if it is already on disk and can be got from gamestop whats rong with just putting it on the sotre
@ gingo
The Gamestop one is the E3 build, the PSN one will be a refined build.
definitly picking R&C up,been a fan since the first game. Now get to work on Resistance:Rise of Man so we can see how the story ends :p
One week isn't bas at all
Doesnt matter i still have half of part 2 and part 3 to finish. This series is amazing. Im playing PS2 games that are 3 years old and are still great
what do they mean when it says its gone gold.
sorry if it sounds dumb.
It means the game's programming has been completed, and the final master "gold" DVD has been created and is ready for mass duplication and subsequently retail sale.
one week isnt bad if theyre adding stuffs fine by me
I own every Ratchet game and they are all must owns. I got the gamestop demo and I'm still going to download it. And the weeks wait isn't that bad.
GBNova, that some real interesting info. I didn't know that at all. Is that how all games are produced or is this a recent procedure?
BTW, Ratchet and Clank Rules!!!!!!
