I've never understood reservations. Why would you reserve it so far off? It's not like if it's gonna sell out if you don't reserve it. I don't think I have ever seen a game that isn't possible to get at a store without reservation on the day it releases.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?! What about GarandTheftAuto,  Halo 3(I know it is a XBOX game), even I think it was the Madden 06. There have been PLENTY of times games have sold out everywhere on day one. MGS4 will DEFINETELY sell out on day one. I can almost GURANTEE it. On topic though i really hope it does come out soon I am lookinf forward to getting it ASAP!!!

the only thing to keep in mind though when putting down money.  don't put down ALL the money, at least not until its really close to release date.  all the company does is take your money and put it into a high interest savings account, and thus they earn a lot of moeny off your $60.  instead put only $5 down and put the $55 into your own savings account ( i love the ING accounts, they earn over 4%) this way you make money off of it, instead of gamestop or eb games

$100 says that Resistance 2 is out before Haze is.

Well if the release dates right, we all know that Insomniac games will hit the said release date. Insomniac never delays and always meets release dates. Ex. Resistance 1 launch title. Also Insomniac says that single player is roughly done ( without polish) im sure they can hit Sept 3rd.

That date sounds about right. Insomniac almost always release their games approximately 1 year apart. I love Insomniac. Expect the next Rachet and Clank before years end also, put $100 on that.

GameStop makes up these release dates pretty much. They get a rough estimate from the company and then pick a day they think might be close. The same thing happened with MGS4. There is no solid date for it.

GameStop does this because customers are much more likely to pre-order a game if there is a date down on paper even if it's totaly bogus. I know this because my girlfriend works at GameStop.

i didtnt preordered it...and i didnt find the game for 2 weeks..till one day me and my friend went to look at best buy for are final stop...BOOM 2 copys left for me and my friend...tear of joy ran down my face...so yea...some games u should preorder cuz most of the time you get some cool extras..from a tin can case to a in game item or even more...most the time its only 5 bucks...so sometimes its worth it sometimes its not

actually couple of my friends, and my graduate advisor were telling me that Insomniac is looking for Game Testers.

 

Insomniac is located in Burbank Cali, about 45min+(w/traffic) north from L.A

Probably gets pushed back into November, if it even comes out this year.  I know they have the campaign almost done but I just don't think it will be out this year.

This game is so under rated because of all of the bad publicity surrounding the launch of the ps3 it took the brunt because it was a launch title, but it's a good SP and online it's better than gow and can even hold it's self up against cod4, you can forget your unreal’s and your haze’s and you mgs and killzone’s this game is top of my list, please give appreciatation for a game that has give me and many others hours of fun and great satisfaction let's hear it for Resistance, and can't wait for Resistance 2 great.

If this is true (and I hope it is) then all other developers are slackers.  This will be their third AAA title since launch.

When's the last time I trusted gamestop with release dates? I've seen them withold a game be almost week so this makes no difference to me. Continuously checking the dates is the only thing that matters especially from other retailers.

i was thinking more in the october/november  range, but in september it would work better cuz there isnt as many games for me to pick up. and also if this is pushed back to christmas or 2009 its not a delay! thats just when they are trying to get it out, but there not going to rush it or release it with bugs, they will need to move it back for that kind of stuff if it comes up. NOT A DELAY!

at least a good news. please one of these publisher should give me a clear cut distinction between the power of the ps3 ad that of the 360. hope we see astonishing ps3 titles this year that will depict that,  where the developper will  say i choosed the ps3 because 360 couldn't run this game exactly as it is, without some reduction in quality. will this ever happen????

They can make an estimate dating when resistence 2 is coming out, yet they can't make an estimate dating for KZ2, or MSG4  *sigh*

Man Insomniac is really something. This will be there third game for a console that has only been out for a little over a year. Really I haven't seen any company of late that has been able to release so many games of such high quality in such a short time. My hats off to you Insomniac.

this game is gonna kick @§§ big time, rfom was my very first ps3 game and even with my left hand was in a plaster that didn't stop me from playing, even if it was a bit difficult, this is just one of does games that you need to have on release date!!!!
