Additonal Info:
According to a PSU source, Namco Bandai's Soul Calibur IV will feature not only Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader, Yoda, and Vader's secret apprentice, but will also include both Sith Lord and Jedi Knight character creation classes.
Although details are already scarce on the character creation options in Soul Calibur IV, we do know that choosing certain clothes or armor will affect how players behave in battle. Also, some pieces of equipment favor offensive and others defensive playstyles. It will be interesting if this rumor is true, as players will be able to not only create medieval looking characters but also their own lightsaber-wielding Sith warriors.

To take things one step further, we have also been told that Soul Calibur IV will feature up to five known characters from the Star Wars universe, including the 3 previously announced characters. Who will these other two characters be? Your guess is as good as ours, however, seeing as though the secret apprentice fights for the dark side, we expect one of the unannounced characters to be a Jedi.
Stay tuned to PSU.com for more information on this rumor, as we wait for official word from Namco Bandai.

Well, if they're gonna have star wars chars, it makes sense to add a jedi/sith class, however, I'm concerned about the amount of star wars being pumped into this game. I love star wars, I really do, but..this is Soul Calibur, not Star Wars, so they've got to pull something really epic for the story to make this all work
if they adding too many this kinda feature then it's looks like marvel vs capcom and name is namco vs lucasarts lol .
If they have went so far that its no longer just "fun add-on", then wouldn't it be more fitting to get it some other name?
the apprentice char looks lame as crap, and i hope hes not meant to be a main playable char, just like a sub char. and i agree, theres too much star wars in this already
They should of made a special star wars fighting game instead of making another soul calibur!
That will be awesome =D
I think they should stray a bit from Star Wars and put some other characters in there. Kratos? Nero or Dante? Ryu from Ninja Gaiden? Altair from AC?
---
I think the other 2 characters would be Mace WIndu and Obi-Wan. Or maybe General Grievous as a boss.
@ SOLARC HE** YEAH
Too much Star Wars, add other characters from other actual games please.
@ Solrac: It'd be a cool idea, but at that point Sony should just create a Smash Bros-type game with Kratos, Dante, etc. like InfernoReaper says.
People complaining about too much star wars characters. Chill out. We've already gotten a lot of new characters for soul calibur and keep getting even more. This is going to be a big roster of characters. Have you forgotten about character creation? Don't like the characters? Then create your own. Make your own Cloud. Make your own Altair. Make your own Ryu from Ninja Gaiden. etc. etc. That was a fun aspect of SC3.
Always thought it was funny that the lightsaber normally should cut the swords of any of the character in SCIV, unfortunately it actually doesn't obviously. XD
I think this game is gonna be awesome! Too many Star Wars characters isn't bad since they add to the roster. Don't forget that before they decided on new SC characters they had a ton of concept drawings and ideas to choose from. You can't just pop into a game anything. The Star Wars characters are in their majority well known and a proven formula that works so why not implement them? I think its gonna be interesting. Can't wait! :D
