Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has said that it is waiting on confirmation as to whether or not the gunmetal PlayStation 3 will be available in Europe.
The special edition console is currently confirmed for release in North America and Japan to coincide with the release of Konami’s highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
However, there has been no word if the system will make its way to European territories.
A SCEE representative told Videogaming247, “I’ve asked if we’re getting this but have yet to have an answer confirmed.”

Oh wow it would be awesome if it does come over. I have a launch day 60GB one, but it would be cool if this pack comes over here. Although im sure it would sell out just as quickly as the Japanese one.

It would be awesome if this was to be released in the PAL territories, it'll be a sell out for sure...so long as they keep it the same price as the GT5:P pack or lower!
Definitely a collector's console...could be worth more once all the units are sold out! Maybe even modify it after the warranty expires?!? Stick in a bigger HDD and somehow shove a 60gb SKU inside....so that it'll have BD and a huge HDD (atleast 320 HDD)!!!

I'll probably be surprised if Europe does get the Gunmetal PS3 bundle because Europe is already going to be getting the GTA4 PS3 bundle and that's enough for Europe if you ask me. If Europe does indeed get the Gunmetal PS3 bundle, I think that the U.S. had BETTER get the GTA4 PS3 bundle.
I think the U.S. needs the GTA4 bundle more than the MGS4 bundle. But I'm so glad we're getting the MGS4 bundle for sure. This is the first time in history that I'm actually gonna go out of my way and empty my pockets to get something limited.
